Louis Orantes and his father, Francisco Orantes, purchased the business known as Bayshore Wreckers, and changed the name to Bayshore Materials, Inc. In l974, they introduced the very popular Concrete U-Cart Trailer with wet cement to take home for the do-it-yourself market. In 1983, Francisco Orantes retired and Louis's son, Keith Orantes joined the company.
