Hands down the best experience of shopping I ever had. The price and quality of this beautiful douglas fir was unbelievable, not to mention the superior customer service, experience and deep knowledge of material. Mark is warm, friendly and knows his stuff better than anyone I have seen so far. I definitely found my favorite place to shop. I have no association with Mark, Just absolutely impressed with quality of service and material I received. I wish there were more people like him, would make the world a better place.

Bought yellow cedar shingles this morning-Mark was very helpful even if we did insist on getting a pretty large load onto our old truck! Great service.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this local business. I bought cedar decking for our farmer's porch and it was beautiful and great quality! The owner was so helpful! We are going to redo our floors next and most definitely we will be getting the flooring there too!

Worked with Mark/Uncle Hilde's to purchase cedar shakes to side a new summer cottage near Lake Winnipisaukee, and ended up with a very high quality product at very good price, plus all kinds of helpful advice on products selection, installation and also help with loading/unloading and delivery. Would definitely come here first for flooring/siding wood products needs.

Mark is a true professional, and offers contractor quality goods at a bargain price. I bought both decking and shingles from him, and could not be more satisfied with the quality. He is also a gentleman and patient in giving advice. Good old fashioned value and service!

These guys rock! I needed some composite trim to replace some rotted boards on the exterior of my home; my builder got a great product at a great price! My next project will be to replace the composite railing on my deck as it's splitting. Had I gone to Uncle Hilde's to get my decking material in the first place, I wouldn't have to deal with this unexpected expense. I won't make that mistake again. Professional and knowledgeable staff, you can always trust that you'll get a high quality product at the lowest price at Uncle Hilde's. Shop Local!
