When Jester Concepts took on the task of reinventing the old Porter & Frye location in the newly renovated Ivy Hotel in downtown Minneapolis, they teamed up with ESG Architects and General Contractor Scott Knuston. The concept of the restaurant was to offer a modern expression of genuine Italian cuisine. In keeping with that theme, when the team came to us for material selections, Italian white marble was the obvious choice. The team at RSP Architects approached us with a few specific goals for this project.

Selecting the right stone is a process of coordinating the look you prefer with the material that has the properties that fit your project. Quartzite is a natural stone slab just as a marble or granite.
