Oven Building Materials

Below are some general recommendations based on our refractory application experience and many successful customer projects. Medium duty (or higher) hard fire bricks are suitable for the hot face layer, inside the oven. This includes, floors, walls, dome, arches and hearth etc. Refractory mortar should be used for dome, roof or wall brick joints.

We maintain a large inventory of grades and sizes of Hard Fire Brick in our warehouse. In addition to our stock, we are able to source bricks on short notice from several geographic locations. INSBLOK-19 is an economical, rigid, high strength mineral wool block with excellent workability. Super Stick is a multi-purpose, high temperature insulating cement for temperatures up to 1900°F. Composed of mineral fiber, binders, and corrosion inhibiting agents that are blended to give maximum coverage with minimal shrinkage, excellent adhesion and ease of application.
