From Start to Finish We're a fully integrated domestic manufacturer controlling our process from raw material specifications to finished product design. In 1951, R.C. Parrish founded a modest machining and drilling operation and named it Central Machine & Tool Company (CMT). He formed the company as a jobbing machine shop, but later recognized that manufacturing a set product line would be the key to building a strong reputation and ensuring the company's long-term success.PT began manufacturing quick connect/disconnect industrial hose fittings in 1955 and began marketing them worldwide in 1960, as products of "PT Coupling".
