We were extremely pleased with the entire purchasing process. Our representative was responsive during the ordering process but once the purchase was complete he has not responded to an email regarding a missing piece and the need to order another railing. Very disappointed that once he has received the commission from our sale, he is hands off. To be an excellent salesperson and provide superior customer service, a follow up email or phone call to see that everything was received, how did installation go, and was there anything else needed.

As others have said on here -- AVOID this company-- if you value being able to reach anyone AFTER the sale. They're great at SALES and providing a product but forget about being able to get through to anyone for help later on as a customer. Calls re-routed-- constantly sent to voice mail and day after day, no one calls back. "Jennifer" is especially absent.

This review is for customer service and not the product itself. I filled out a request form to be sent more information but requested to be emailed and not called because of a busy scheduled during the day. I then proceeded to get 5-6 phone calls a day, every day, from a couple different numbers claiming to be this company. The few times I was able to take the call I said I was busy and would back at my earliest convenience, they would say "okay not a problem" and then proceeded to call me again numerous times after that.
I told them I was no longer interested and then a different number would continue calling. I understand wanting to make a sale but at a point it's harassment. It was very weird. Recommend anyone else.

I had a complicated build for a barn that was converted into a beautiful house. Got lots of help from Salter to ensure I ordered the right stairs with respect to height, orientation, etc. The stairs were built and ready for pickup in a timely manner. It took two guys about 10 hours each to complete, but we had no experience with this type of install and used the instructions extensively (which provided all the guidance you need). The stairs look great and are of high quality. They are diamond plate and had the industrial look we wanted. I would use Salter again if I ever had the need for a spiral staircase.

We purchased the rod iron stair with oak treads and rail. They arrived on time and the workmanship and craftmanship is truly amazing. We are working on the finishing of the wood and I will post once complete. Salesman super responsive and timely with all estimates. Consumer service exceptional as well. Thank you, Lorna
