Services
New home construction
Our new home construction program creates affordable housing through volunteer labor and donated materials. Partner families contribute sweat equity while learning construction skills. Each home meets strict quality standards and includes financial literacy training. This program provides long-term stability through 0% interest mortgages, transforming lives across East Central Ohio's communities.
Critical home repair
Critical home repair addresses safety hazards and structural issues in existing homes. We partner with homeowners to complete essential exterior repairs through interest-free loans. Services include roof replacement, window installation, and accessibility modifications. This program preserves housing investments while maintaining neighborhood stability across our five-county service area.
Deconstruction services
Our deconstruction program salvages reusable building materials from demolition sites. Volunteers recover items for resale at Habitat ReStore, funding new construction projects. This environmentally-friendly approach reduces landfill waste while creating revenue for affordable housing initiatives across Stark County and surrounding areas.

The hours shown on their google listing are not correct - they have different summer hours. Closed on Tuesday's as well.

Even though the prices on somethings are a little high priced. Everything is organized nicely. It makes it easy to find what you are looking. Everything gets dusted. Employees take great care and pride with each item.

The store is not as neatly organized as it once was. A lot of the merchandise is old and not in good condition. By wisely. Not all pricing here is good.

The ReStore at Habitat for Humanity East Central Ohio is a great place to find bargains on furniture, household goods and even some building supplies. It is to furniture and home furnishings what Goodwill is to clothes. There's even a nice used book and media section which is getting more difficult to find at resale stores. I believe they have just changed their open days to Wednesday through Saturday for the summer of 2022. Check it out.
