We contracted to have 2 rooms floored in new hardwood with tear out of the old flooring and installation of the new in late March, 2022. It is JUNE and the work is not completed. This company is a HUGE disappointment. During the tear out my home was damaged, the "team" was rude and largely inexperienced (leading to a saw injury on one of the young workers~who then left blood stains all over my bathroom, porch, and entryway).
There was inadequate supply of flooring ordered leading to unnecessary delays, inattention to detailing requiring additional repair, and careless handling of materials while working. I was belittled for demanding quality work and called a "hypersensitive customer." The only positive thing I have to say so far is that the flooring itself is good quality. I thought we were going with an experienced, established, local quality company. I was so wrong. Stay away from Great Western Flooring.

Great Western Flooring did a beautiful job refinishing our hardwood floors. The workmen and the gentlemen who moved our furniture were courteous and professional, and Jayson, our job foreman, was great. My only quibble was communication before the job. We were told the work would take 3-4 days and that we would be able to live in the house while it was happening. When the workmen began to tape plastic over every doorway and the kitchen cabinets, I started to freak out. Jayson was able to put me at ease and resolve things - the job only took two days, and he communicated when we would be able to return to the house and walk on the floors after the refinishing was done.
I would have liked clearer explanation about how the job would go, how the house would be prepared, and expectations for our ability to use the house while work was going on. This would have set my expectations and made everything less stressful. But overall, we are very satisfied with the work.

LJ was amazing, she was so knowledgeable and great to work with. When the tile was delivered the driver removed it all by hand and placed it neatly in my garage. He was so polite and friendly. I will definitely use them for my next project.

Great Western Flooring are wonderful to work with and have lots of flooring options. In particular, Joanna Jarzabek is an excellent designer. She listens to what you are trying to accomplish in the space and provides lots of good insights to help you make an informed decision. She felt more like a partner in the design process than a salesperson, which is what we were looking for. We would highly recommend GWF for any flooring needs.

I went to Great Western Flooring and I was super impressed with the knowledge of Joanna Jarzabek. She diligently informed me of all pros and cons of various flooring options and tiles. The product quality is great which is several notches up the big box retailers. We finally bought Coretec red river hickory flooring. We bought underlayment from Joanna as she walked us through various designs. If you want an excellent improvement to your home, visit Great Western Flooring.
