Superior Ready Mix Concrete L.P. began in 1958 as Escondido Ready Mix Concrete, Inc. Jack Brouwer and some partners began with one small concrete plant and a handful of small mixer trucks. With a commitment to high quality products and service, along with a conservative approach to growth, business grew. The business first expanded to other parts of San Diego County and eventually to Riverside County and Imperial County. Through the years Jack Brouwer purchased his partner's share in the business, eventually becoming the sole owner.
