Bob Kaslander Jr. has over 30 years of industry experience, joining Excelsior in 1989 after roles in Alaska and California. A former NJ Lumbermans Association member, he coached youth basketball for 14 years and remains active in his church. He resides in Verona with his family.

A US Marine and Lehigh University graduate, Bob Sr. has led Kaslander Lumber since 1960. Awarded Lumber Man of the Year in 1990, he served as LBMDA president and maintains active roles in both companies. He resides in Montville with his wife and enjoys golf.

If you are in the market for cabinetry you need to go to Excelsior Kitchens and go see Karin K. She was great from start to finish. We visited Karin as we were completing a home renovation and needed some new kitchen and bath cabinetry. Karin was great to work with from the second we walked in. We was helpful, guided us to great decisions and worked within our budget. We would highly recommend her to anyone in the market for a new kitchen or bath. A huge thanks to Karin for all of her help!

I like these guys when I'm doing work in the Butler, West Milford, Bloomingdale, and Haskell towns. They're fair in terms of delivery and punctual, . The prices of lumber can't be helped. I recommend.

We used this lumber yard when replacing our deck ourselves in 2019. We were doing it on a very slim budget and price was a major factor and Excelsior came in under everywhere else we looked. We placed the order and we were warned by others that lumber yards will just dump the delivery in your driveway so we expected a mess but they came with everything packed nicely on a skid and they used a forklift to place it exactly where we asked which is a big deal because we have a small driveway.
The delivery person told us that if any pieces weren't to our liking, just to call them and they'd bring new ones. I think we had two pieces that weren't great but ended up being unused extras anyway. We get lots of compliments on our deck and I've recommended them to plenty of people. My brother and father have since used them for their deck renovations and were also very happy. I'd definitely use them again!
