R&D Coatings, LLC. was founded in 1989 as a consulting service and began production of industrial coating products in 1991. Developed and introduced UV cure pigmented basecoat/off-set gravure printing process for particle board and MDF. Developed and introduced high clarity water-based UV wood coatings that match the appearance of conventional wood lacquers.

R&D Coatings, LLC. is pleased to offer a UV curable Water-Based Wood Stain Matching System which is Low VOC and HAPS Free. The color match system utilizes 248 panels in Maple and Oak pre-formulated for quick custom wood stain color matching. Stains are compatible with UV Finishes, W/B - UV Spray and Conventional W/B Spray Finishes.
