Dan Ogonek and two of his great craftsmen spent two days training with over 60 students ages 8th grade to high school seniors. As the instructor, I am so grateful for great men and companies like OCH. They are compelled to share their craft with the next generation. These experiences are so impactful in exposing students to careers that they never knew existed. Thanks Dan for giving to my students, great men make great men. RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS! Dan Ogonek has had 20 walnut logs (approx. 2500 board feet of walnut) since 2013 and he has STILL NOT MILLED it! It would take like a couple days of work and for what reason I cannot imagine, he wont get it done. I had to hire a lawyer to get my cherry milled. It must have been a good business when his Dad ran it, but I have heard nothing but strife from people I've run into that have dealt with him.
His own employees said he has dozens of unfinished work and the out of state projects can't even sue him because cross-state litigation is so difficult. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON'T GET NEAR THIS GUY. He's very nice and personable but for some reason can't seem to get anything done.
