Installation

The estimate process helps us determine the scope of your hardwood flooring project. If there are pre-existing floors prior to the installation process we typically suggest that those floors are removed first. Typically homeowners will opt to demolish old floors themselves to save money. If homeowners wish to do the old floor demolishing themselves, we provide them with ways to make the process go smoothly.

Sanding and Refinishing

Please see color chart provided for basic color selection. Upon customer selection from online chart Mr. Sandman will provide larger samples in person. We begin the sanding process using a belt sander at the middle of the floor, a circular sander for the edges of the floor and hand scrapers for the corners.

Repair

Report

Mr. Sandman offers a multitude of solutions for damaged hardwood floors. Mr. Sandman is limited to hardwood flooring and refinishing repairs, as well as small subfloor repairs. Repairs we typically do include board replacement and refinishing the floor in which the boards have been replaced. Generally, we will not replace boards unless we are refinishing the floor in which the boards are being replaced.
