Urban Lumber

A very huge urban maple tree that was past its prime and far too valuable to go to waste. In 1999, our country threw away equal to one quarter of its 14 billion board feet of hardwood consumption. Like many areas, Eugene, Oregon is in the heart of an urban forest that contains more trees than people. These trees are vital to our economic sustainablity and communities well being.
