AGY produces a number of E-Glass fiber products. E glass fibers are fibers with high stability and durability and are, with the exception of sizing ingredients, inorganic, incombustible and will neither expand nor contract with moisture changes. The glass composition used in AGY formulations meets the certification for E glass as defined by ASTM's D578-00 Standard Specification for Glass Fiber Strands.

Both E Glass and S-2 Glass fibers offer unique reinforcement properties, including a balance of strength, fiber toughness, tensile and compressive modulus and impact resistance that are critical in these high-performance aerospace applications.

Over the years, AGY has maintained an excellent record of employee retention.
