There are many reasons why seams are placed in a countertop. Most commonly it is due to material size. Slabs come in varying sizes and shapes, if a counter top is larger than the material selected a seam will be needed. In addition to slab size, seams may be needed due to job site conditions including elevators, stairs, ease of access, and our ability to install a top in a safe manner.
Warranty

Tile Market of Delaware, Inc. warrants to the owner that at its option will repair or replace, without charge, a countertop piece installed by our company if it fails due to any manufacturing defect, except for damage caused by chemical or physical use or abuse. This warranty is limited solely to the repair or replacement, including required labor charges of the countertop piece. The term of this warranty is ten years from the date of your signed contract and it is for indoor residential installations only.
