A To Z Carpet & Rug

We are A To Z Carpet & Rug, a family-owned flooring and home improvement business founded in 1984 by Ali, a civil and mechanical engineering graduate with honors from the University of the District of Columbia and a masters degree from George Washington University. Our 36+ years of operational experience span the full spectrum of flooring installation, repair, and restoration, as well as kitchen cabinet and granite selection and installation for residential and commercial clients across Northern Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. We specialize in the care, restoration, and sale of authentic Persian and Oriental rugs, with a curated collection of more than 1,000 handcrafted pieces that reflect centuries of traditional Iranian weaving techniques and cultural history. Our team of skilled installers is trained to handle every flooring type we offer, from wall-to-wall carpet and hardwood to tile, laminate, granite, and specialty flooring, with a commitment to precision and minimal disruption to your home or business. We hold ourselves to the highest professional standards for every project, whether it is a simple rug cleaning, a full kitchen renovation, or a high-profile flooring installation, and we stand behind the quality of our work and products.

Our problem-solving capabilities are rooted in Alis engineering background, allowing us to address unique installation challenges, repair damaged artisan rugs, and deliver custom solutions that meet the specific needs of each client. We prioritize full transparency in all client interactions, from providing free, no-obligation estimates to clearly outlining project timelines, costs, and care instructions for all products we sell and install. Our commitment to client satisfaction is reflected in our 36-year track record of positive testimonials from long-term clients, including investors, property managers, and commercial owners who rely on our consistent, high-quality work. We offer flexible service options to accommodate busy schedules, including the ability to complete standard carpet installations within 3 days of order confirmation. We are dedicated to sharing our passion for artisan flooring and home improvement with every visitor, offering free guided tours of our showroom to help clients explore our full range of products in person. We back our pricing with a guarantee to beat any competitors quote for comparable products and services, ensuring clients receive exceptional value without sacrificing quality.
