Waterjet cutting is widely used for a number of applications in the Aerospace industry. One distinct advantage that waterjet offers is that it leaves no heat-affected zone. Being a cold-cutting method allows the material to retain its original properties and will not cause stress in the metal or change the structure of the material.

Why Waterjet

Take ordinary tap water and pressurize it to 60,000 psi (4,000 bar) and force it through a very small hole. Mix the water with garnet abrasive and you have a very thin stream of water traveling very fast that will rapidly erode most materials. Some waterjet projects require "water-only" and don't add the garnet abrasive.

High Rail Gantry waterjet systems, a Flow Mach 4 and Four 90k PSI Pumps (24 total cutting heads) we have the ability to be more efficient and pass the cost savings to our customers.
