Your Trusted Kitchen & Bath Remodeling Partner in Detroit
Founded in 1948, Artistic Kitchens is a family-owned business with a legacy of excellence in kitchen and bath design spanning over 75 years. Our journey began in post-war Detroit with Walter Kevelin, an innovative Irish immigrant who established Artistic Cabinets to transform houses into homes. Over four generations, we have expanded our expertise while maintaining a commitment to exceptional craftsmanship and personalized service. My grandfather Ivan Kevelin and his brother Bruce brought engineering precision to the business in 1969, elevating our reputation for quality. Today, I continue this tradition as principal designer, combining decades of industry experience with fresh perspectives gained during my decade-long tenure at leading cabinet manufacturers. Our process prioritizes collaboration, utilizing 3D renderings and tailored design solutions to meet each client's unique needs. We specialize in new construction, remodeling, and custom cabinetry for kitchens, bathrooms, and specialty spaces across Southeast Michigan and beyond. Our team's deep understanding of design trends, functionality, and client expectations ensures every project reflects both timeless aesthetics and modern innovation.
