Founded in 1919, Lewis Street Glass is Kansas' oldest glass shop. Locally owned and family operated, the shop was originally located in downtown Wichita on Lewis Street. Today, you will find us just a few blocks away near Kellogg and Market. Fifth generation family members operate Lewis Street Glass with expertise and commitment to the community. Red Becker founded Lewis Street Glass in 1919. The business began as a one-stall shop on Lewis St. and grew to a 23,000 square foot facility. George Bradshaw and his wife Barb ran the business with Red until he retired in 1973. George and Barb's daughter Deb and her husband, Bob Crager, came on board in 1975 after he completed his service for the US Air Force in Germany.
