It was a great experience and you can see employees blowing glasses. I have never appreciate the process of making glasses until I came here. The employees have strong arms and during the process it is super hot. The glass piece has to constantly be turning. I took away a greater appreciation for making glass pieces.

Truly a very inspiring place. Not only can you see this beautiful craftsmanship bring you amazing pieces of art but the owners and as well as the artist take the time to show and educate everyone that comes in on the process. To know that people still care enough to take the time to inform other says everything. Gorgeous pieces of art and kindness? Yeah count me in for all my holiday shopping here

Avalon Glassworks has beautiful hand blown glass items. I came into the store and found the perfect vase for my cousin and great little pumpkins for their 2 children. Any time I need something special to give to someone or for my home, I always choose Avalon Glassworks. Their work is high quality, beautiful and artistic. Each item has so much love and thought put into it. If you haven't been, you need to go in the fall to see their amazing pumpkins. And close to the holidays for Christmas ornaments. Oh and spring and summer too as their is something different to see each season. And you can watch the glassblowers at work during certain times!
