Charter Wire can help you save time and money from the secondary machining process with cold rolled steel shapes customized for your desired profile and mechanical properties. In fact, we've developed over 2,000 unique custom cold rolled steel shapes since our inception in 1936. We engineer special tooling in-house to shape steel rod into finished wire or bar, with tight manufacturing tolerances to +/- 0.001 (+/- 0.025 mm). Through the cold rolling process we are also able to enhance the mechanical properties of the wire rod to fit your application.
