Even during the struggle of the Great Depression, through World War II, and despite massive changes in the industry, the Scherer family never lost their innovative spirit-a spirit that keeps Scherer Bros. continually growing year after year. At the turn of the 20th century, vast pine forests stretched across central and northern Minnesota.
