Highly recommend RetroGreen for quality of communication, timeliness, professionalism, and cleanliness.
They told us exactly which 2 days they would be at our place, brought a large crew those 2 days, and blew foam into our attic, walls, and crawl space. They were exceedingly polite, and cleaned up very very well afterwards.
Both days were rainy and muddy, so the hoses dragged mud inside, but they had dropped plastic and cardboard throughout the interior. Even covered appliances. With all the mud and rain, we expected to come out to quite a mess, but they cleaned and wiped every surface.

The a/c is running 1/2 as often to cool the house as prior to installation, so work was obviously effective as well.

They showed up when they said they would. Got right to work and did a good job. I am looking forward to the added insulation this winter.

I had expanding foam insulation installed in the walls of my 1954 house by RetroGreen of St. Cloud. (Although the blown in attic insulation I had hired 5 years prior helped utility costs tremendously, the old wall batting was making little difference in heat retention.Or keeping cool.The new furnace ran often.)
A great 3 man crew arrived on time; they were polite, got along well, worked efficiently, and clean up was like " they had never been there." My foundation plants survived very well and were treated with care. The double dutch lap siding was handled expertly.
Exterior sound from the neighborhood was reduced immediately. There's little doubt in my mind that propane and electricity usage will be reduced. It feels even more of a sweet, cozy little house now.

From the thorough assessment of needs, to the clear estimation (broken into priority levels), to the exacting completion of the job, to the positivity, friendliness, and cleanliness of the work crew, to the completed project we have been extremely pleased! These guys were great. Sales/quote was very thorough and informative, good communication and follow-through on rebate applications. As for install, the crew of 4 or 5 worked well together, showed up on time, answered my questions, knocked out my retrofoam install in 6 or 7 hours, did a respectable job cleaning up afterward, and I can't even tell which pieces of siding they removed.

Great crew - great work! Professional and reliable from bid to finished job. I had a really rough start trying to find a local company that would show up to look and actually provide straight answers and a solid bid. It was overwhelming and stressful.

Retrogreen insulated my older cabin. They were really fast, they made sure the foam didn't get inside and make a mess, and they cleaned everything up when done. I was very impressed. Special thanks to Nick, Nate, Scott and Lupe. Also, the foam seemed to make a difference right away. The place stays warmer when its cold out.

For insulating my old home's attic they were careful, thorough, cleaned up after the work was done, and finished everything in one day.

Chris had a large crew doing our attic crawl space. Several trucks and lots of equipment. They had to open up the roof to access this tight space. The crew removed the old crappy insulation, foamed in new for R-60, repaired the roof with matching shingles. They where finishing up as the rain came. Excellent timing guys.
I am glad the team was so well prepared and did good job of cleaning up. We can feel the difference in our home already.

They gave me a very clear and detailed estimate. The work they did was great, and everyone I dealt with was helpful and kind. Highly recommend!

These guys did an absolutely fantastic job. From the initial visit all the way to post-install cleaning up, where every last crumb of foam from the installation was policed up. After it was installed, they spent the time to show me where it was installed and provided me with a way to download and access the FLIR images. The on-site foreman walked me through where everything was installed and explained that my house was pretty much empty when it came to insulation between the outside walls and the studs; there was literally no insulation whatsoever between the studswith the post FLIR Images I was able to see where the foam insulation was pumped in, basically, I went from zero to hero in regards to my overall R factor in my home. He also explained that I would most likely be able to feel the difference immediately. And believe it or not, I was immediately able to feel the difference. When I had the insulation installed, it was a sweltering day here in Minnesota, the following day was just as hot. However, my air conditioner definitely ran much less than the previous day, before the installation. I will be keeping a close eye on my heating and air conditioning bills moving forward just to see exactly how much money I save between the years without the insulation versus now.

They did excellent work. They answered all my questions. I was surprised at how quickly the job was done. The crew that did the job were very professional. Our house was done in the beginning of January and I waited to leave a review so I could see how much money we are saving on our heating costs and I can say there has definitely been a savings there. I only regret not having this done sooner.

Super professional and very knowledgeable. The whole process was awesome from the quote to the job getting done. The crew even left the house cleaner then it was when the got here. We are very happy that Retro Green was able to help us with our Insulation in our Roof/attic and our exterior walls.
Having an older home, things were not as they should have been. Lack of insulation as well as lack of venting in the attic caused many issues. Having very little insulation in the walls as well, made for a cold house in the winter and hot in the summer!! The furnace and fireplace seemed to never shut off and the AC was the same!!
I highly recommend them as they are very easy to work with and the guys that do the work are very professional. Any question I had, they answered without any hesitation. They know their stuff!!
We are excited to see our propane bill be lower this year!!

I had RertroGreen remove and reinstall attic insulation in our 25 year old house as it was apparent what was in there, wasn't doing the job. Our furnace ran constantly when temperature got below 10 F, and we had 5 foot icicles growing off the roof, even when temperatures were below freezing. Ergo, there was a massive heat loss. RetroGreen came in and in the space of 2 days, removed the old insulation, sealed and wrapped anything that needed it, (which was a lot!) and replaced it with new insulation. This was impressive to me as this is a large attic 3000+ sq.ft..
While it has been less than a week since they finished their work and I should actually give it more time before I make any permanent judgements, I can state at this time that during the recent snowstorm and subsequent sub-zero temperatures, the house stayed warm and draft free and the furnace spent more time off than on!
I am very happy with the results. There was a 30% reduction in air loss after the insulation was installed.

The entire process from start to finish was exceptional. The Retrogreen team that worked on removing and installing the insulation did a fantastic job. There was a bonus too! I should have installed an exhaust fan in the bathroom before their arrival
which didnt happen. They suggested having me purchase a fan and they would install it for me. This made the total project solid.

As a business owner in the service industry, I was overly impressed with the amount of effort they took to protect the entire house. The entire crew worked their tails off. Nick, the foreman was hands down amazing and answered all of my questions.. Communicative, responsive and a pleasure to work with. Not only did the protection of the house amaze me, the clean-up was just as good. I highly recommend this crew!

Due to a cancellation I was able to get the install months before scheduled. The crew was fast, efficient and swore like sailors. The insulation effect was noticeable the first day with the main floor not as cold and the floor didn't have the usual cold spots.
Communication on what the job entailed and when it was to begin was well communicated before install day.

Great job, from initial contact, thru energy audit, quote, and install. Every question I had was answered and explained. Paul and crew were on time, courteous, and did an awesome job! We had a few "problem areas", and they were taken care of on the same day. House is noticably quieter and temps inside are more even. Haven't had to run the furnace since they were here, but the AC definitely doesn't run as much as before! Now, can't wait to see how the house does this winter! We contacted Home Advisors who gave us 3 companies to contact for adding insulation to our home. RetroGreen had their "act" together and after doing an energy audit of our house, Paul pointed out the areas where we were lacking sufficient insulation and air leaks. Sam came and took the measurements and gave us a quote. We had to wait longer than we liked to have the work done but have found out that the busy contractors are usually the ones that do the best job. Cody brought the crew in yesterday (half hour earlier than we were told). They went right to work and vacuumed out the old insulation and sealed the areas that leaked, built boxes around fixtures that stuck up into attic. and made a frame around ladder going into attic. Then they sprayed R-60 cellulose insulation into attic, making sure the ventilation needed was there. They cleaned the work area up including the ladder. I highly recommend RetroGreenEnergy

The company representative at the home improvement trade show was knowledgeable and easy-going, which made it easier to ask for a home visit. The scheduler and estimator were friendly and responsive, and gave straight answers quickly. And the crew was best of all: punctual, professional, personable, and thorough. From first meeting to completed project was less than a month, and I'm very happy with the results.

Our experience was very good. The salesman was experienced and knowledgeable. The employees on the job were polite and efficient. It took about five hours, less than we thought. Before the job started our attic was rated R16, after R60. And the blower test before and after was impressive. We have a vaulted ceiling in the living room and dining room. Another company we contacted wasn't interested in insulating the vault but no problem for RetroGreen. We recommend the company.
