I bought the Gripper about 5 years or more ago. I really liked it for all the demonstrated reasons advanced by the manufacturer. In time, the green gripper pads lost its gripping qualities. I tried roughing the surface and applying various topical treatments to restore the gripping qualities, but nothing worked.
