The Roofing Store LLC

We are The Roofing Store, a family-owned exterior contractor based in Plainfield, Connecticut, serving homeowners and commercial property owners throughout Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. Since 1982, our work has focused on protecting and improving properties through roofing, siding, windows, doors, decks, and home additions. We provide residential and commercial roofing using asphalt shingles, metal roofing, flat and low-slope membranes, cedar, and specialty systems from manufacturers including CertainTeed, Tamko Titan XT, AB Martin, and Duro-Last. In addition to installation, we offer inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance designed to identify concerns early, document storm damage, locate leaks, assess flashing and ventilation, and address visible wear. Our maintenance approach includes seasonal evaluations, drainage checks, and condition-based adjustments to help prevent larger problems and unexpected repair costs.

With more than 40 years of construction experience, we bring established expertise to every exterior project. The Roofing Store LLC has operated as a dedicated exterior contractor since 2005, and we hold CertainTeed Master Shingle Certified Contractor status and the CertainTeed Presidential Award for Excellence. Our crews follow OSHA 90 safety standards and complete manufacturer-specific training for roofing, siding, and window systems. We are proud to serve customers through referrals and repeat business while maintaining a permanent Plainfield location at 496 Norwich Rd, featuring a 150-foot outdoor display of roofing, siding, and window materials. Our service area extends approximately 30 miles from Plainfield, including eastern Connecticut, northwest Rhode Island, and select areas of Massachusetts. We provide detailed estimates based on each property and its appropriate materials, offer free estimates and financing options for qualifying projects, and welcome customers to explore our showroom and project gallery before making selections.
