The Robuck and McDonald families formed Ro-Mac Lumber and Supply. in 1945 when they jointly purchased Woods Lumber Company. A 2nd yard was opened in Tallahassee, Florida in 1946, and the firm officially took the Ro-Mac name with the purchase of Leesburg Lumber and Supply in 1947.
