I built with Diamond Peak builders and they Use Banter for flooring and tile. My custom master bath tile in the shower is terrible. Gaps and some tiles stick out more than others from the wall. The cut of the tile behind my shower head is so bad that the grout lines show around the shower head because they cut the tile too short. Instead of cutting a new piece they just crammed more grout. Gaps in flooring around all trim pieces in my master bath.
Chip in the wood flooring in my foyer. They finally came out to tuck carpet under transition pieces for my living room. The problem with the carpet is not with the transition piece but rather them cutting the carpet too short along other parts in the room. Just awful. I closed on my house on November 19th 20201 and I am still not living in my home because of Banter

We had to choose flooring for a whole new home. Gina the sales clerk helped us coordinate all the flooring and kept it within our budget. There are so many choices you certainly can find what you want there!

I would give Banter zero stars if possible. Our experience with them has been dismal. After the tile not arriving when it was supposed to, we finally got it. It wasn't late due to COVID. It was late due to them losing it. Our installer tried to install it but it's not laid in the sheets correct (see pics.) He tried to work around it and move them straight but it looked so terrible that he had to pull them down.
We contacted Banter and have now been dealing with this for a month. The latest comment was, "We didn't do anything wrong." Do yourself a huge favor, go to The Tile Shop in Schererville. They were nothing but helpful. They found our tile, got it shipped sooner than expected and charged barely a quarter of what Banter charged.

I wanted to match some tile in my house which had been purchased at Banter Flooring. I spoke to a rep named Will ( who should be named Won't). I explained what and how I wanted to tile and asked if he would be able to obtain this specific tile. He sounded put out by my request but did say it could be ordered. I placed the order and was told the tile should arrive in 5-7 business days. It took 10 business days and when I went to pick up the tile and buy grout and the edging I was told that has to be ordered as well. I would think the rep would ask if there were any other supplies I needed when I ordered the tile! I will it go back to this business.

Of course Ginny did not return my call, that is the type of customer service they have. We just hired cover rite and recarpeted our lower level, they did a great job. They also corrected all the very large bumps we had in the carpet we kept that was installed by Banter. The carpet was still in good shape, just needed to be stretched properly as it should have been in the first place. Now we had to move very heavy furniture to get it done.

My floors are awesome, and the overall experience was even better. Banter went above and beyond to put beautiful Quick Step flooring in my new home, and I couldn't be more thankful. Excellent work to the sales team & installation crew. I will be back in the future.
