In 1999 Mark Hartsell joined the company as an Owner and President. The mixer fleet was updated to tag-axel and standard Mack mixers to increase the target market area. Computerized batch panels increased quality and service. In 2005 Carolina Concrete entered the Greenville market with a state-of-the-art Drybatch concrete plant at the Donaldson Center.

President and General Manager of Carolina Concrete company. Mark is a graduate of Appalachian State University with a degree in Marketing and Management. His background includes sales and technical management for cement and concrete companies spanning over 25 years. Mark is a former President of the CRMCA and is ACI, SCDOT, and NRMCA certified.

All our plants are CPMB, SCDOT, and NRMCA certified to ensure the highest quality products are produced. Each plant is a dry batch, computer controlled facility, with a state of the art truck tracking system. Specialized trucks with 11yd mixers are available with extended chutes.
