An American family tradition is to erect a memorial in remembrance of a beloved mother, father, son or daughter. Your family will purchase a monument because there was a LIFE - not a death. It is a lasting symbol of devotion, an expression of the noblest of all human emotions: LOVE. From a simple grave marker to a one-of-a-kind designed and hand carved monument, our craftsmen and designers will provide the finest in granite, marble or bronze.
We offer exceptional services at affordable prices for all of the following: grass markers, bevel markers, slant markers, lawn level markers, cremation benches, cremation urns, bench memorials, bronze markers, bronzes plaques, bronze statues, headstones, gravestones, pillow memorials, upright monuments, civic memorials, civic monuments, commercial signage and engraving, date stones, donation bricks, engraved river rocks, and garden art.

HC Wood Inc. was founded in 1855 by Aaron Wood, great-great-grandfather of the present owner, Harvard C. Wood IV. For over 160 years, the Wood family has been designing and building memorials for the families whose loved ones are resting in hallowed grounds. In 1855, the Civil War was still in the future, and my great-great-grandfather began carving memorials for the Philadelphia area cemeteries and churchyards.

I have taken way too long to tell you that I am very happy with the stone that you made for my parents, Jane & Andy Ebelhare. It is so much more their style than the other three. Thank you for working with us on the design. It's quite pretty. Sorry for the delay in writing this. I visited my parents' grave last Saturday Feb.
