Buyer beware! This store will charge you for measurements. I had found a 12 x 27 remnant at another small carpet store. They came out and measured without charging me or taking a deposit and I was told that it would be a perfect fit. Unfortunately, the remnant was sold before I made my decision so I had to find another store with that carpet since the store no longer carried that brand.

I found the carpet at Worldwide. My husband took measurements but told the sales person that he was not sure of the exact amount of carpet that was needed. We were told that it was no problem because they were going to come and measure anyway. We left an 80% deposit based upon the measurements we provided. Unfortunately, our measurements were not accurate which can be expected since we are not in the carpet business.

After Worldwide measured, I received a call from the sales person saying I needed 369 square feet of carpet which is approximately 12 x 31. The cost of my carpet was now $800 more than what was originally quoted. I told the sales person that I did not understand why I needed so much carpet since the room was 12 x 24. I was told that the carpet needed go halfway into the two doors on the side of the room.

I told the sales person that this was impossible since there was tile and also the room itself is only 11 feet 8 inches wide. This would have no bearing on the additional length. I suggested that they send another person to measure and confirm since this did not make sense but was not given this as an option. The salesperson spoke with the installer and was told, "sell her what she wants." This implied to me that they would not take responsibility for the amount of carpet and if it was wrong or short I would be blamed.

My husband and I decided to cancel the order. I received another call from the sales person who then said that the manager had reviewed the measurements and they could do it for me for $400 less because I did not need all that carpet. At this point, my husband and I lost trust and decided not to purchase from them and cancelled the order. I asked for my deposit to be refunded.

Two days later I received my refund minus $50. We were told that there was a charge to measure. We were NEVER told that there was a charge to measure the money I left was a deposit and did not include a charge to measure. It is unbelievable to me that a store this large would do this. If your business is reliant upon accurate measurements it is in your best interest to offer this as a free service. Businesses offer free estimates and quotes all the time but not this one!

They are forcing you to pay $50 and then selling you more carpet than you need! In the end, you will not be paying less if you think it is cheaper than a small business. This is a disgrace and they are clearly taking advantage of the customer. There are plenty of small carpet stores that do not do this. Another reason to buy from small businesses.

We shopped at Worldwide for an area rug and hall runner. Dana in Old Bridge and the rest of the staff couldn't be more accommodating. We experienced some Covid delays and were kept in constant contact by the store. The installer who bound the carpet was truly professional and treated our home like it was his own. Would definitely recommend!

We were looking to remodel our kitchen and three full bathrooms and had been to several stores before we walked into Worldwide. Honestly, at this point we were fairly jaded and exhausted. But when we got to Worldwide we were approached by a sales rep/designer as we were strolling around. She didn't give a hard sell but asked us questions about our project, what we were looking for.

She got excited by some of our ideas and then we got excited by some of her ideas - here was a sales rep who knew the inventory, knew design, and most importantly! knew to stay within our budgetary parameters. We ended up with tiles for all three baths, and cabinets for the kitchen that were beyond what we thought we could afford. Because she worked with us, tirelessly.

And stayed in good spirits. And had a really good eye for design! A big shout out to Ann Marie Yorke! We felt we found a kindred spirit who worked with us for weeks to get us the design that thrilled us and the cost that felt comfortable. I'd highly recommend this particular Worldwide any day of the week. Thanks Ann Marie!

I decided to update my bathroom as it was looong overdue. I went to Worldwide initially for my tile. Much to my surprise I was also able to get the cabinetry for the vanity as well. It couldn't have been any easier. The staff was incredibly helpful. Considering how long things take these days, the delivery was also very quick. I have been going to Worldwide for years and now I know yet again why I keep coming back! Working with Ann Marie and Joe made this part of the renovation headache free! It's almost time to redo the floors in the living room. I'll be back soon!

Got the tiles that I absolutely love that were Sonoma 24x48 and 12x24. The most beautiful cement looking porcelain tiles I've ever found (and I scoured everywhere)! Thanks to Ann Marie, the process to purchase them was easy peasy! However, I had various times that I needed to follow up on a few items and Ann Marie was able to track things down for me.

I felt she was so invested in ensuring that my bathroom reno was a success and she continuously jumped in quickly to help me resolve issues. Best customer service I've experienced in a while - just when I thought that concept was dead with online service. She was one of the best and made my experience the best! She is a rockstar!

If you have a high end project do yourself a favor and do not purchase from here. Second rate vendors are what they use. I will be posting in much greater detail my experience (fully factual), the problems, the delays and customer service and experience. They like to take your money but won't deliver a quality product.

I bought rugs from this place online but then after placing my order decided to go to the store thinking that if I went to the store I will have them faster. End up that its been 3 month since the purchase and they don't even have an idea where the rugs are. Called them several times to track the order, gave him time due to the difficult times that we are experiencing with this pandemic and been so patient with them.

At this point I will have to go to the store to get a full refund for my order because the Manager and no one can give me a clear explanation or set a clear expectation for when I will be able to get the rugs. I gave them so many weeks to deliver a good service because I really want and liked the rugs I ordered. But what a bad service. No even a follow up call, no email following up on the status of my order, not even a receipt email with my payment that they quickly collect over the phone once I change my order from the initial online purchased. The manager Marty said he was going to correct the situation and give me a call back, I am still waiting.

I ordered both carpet for my stairs and laminate for the entire top floor of my home. The rugs were installed first, numerous holes were made in the sheetrock, from the staple gun. Carpet was left sloppily untrimmed. I was told, this is normal. I do not accept that professional carpet installers cannot control their own tools. Next, a month later, the flooring was installed.

The men pounded on the floor, causing my ceilings on the first floor to crack and nails to visibly pop out. When I informed the installers, I was told to contact the store for reimbursement or repair. Upon informing the store, I was told this is normal, and not covered. This is not mentioned in the paperwork as possible damage. My floors were carpeted prior to this purchase, and unbeknownst to me, seemingly uneven.

The professional installers just ignored the slant and installed the flooring. There is now a deep visible slant to my bedroom floor. Molding that was ordered for the flooring did not arrive on time, and it has been 4 months since the installation and I am still trying to get the job finished. The salesperson, Mara, rarely answers and no one seems to know how to get the molding and complete the job, or compensate me for the damage.

I recently visited one the World Wide store locations and I was immediately greeted by a Very pleasant employee. I was there just to look at possible options for flooring as well as checking out if there pricing was within reason and at all possible to fit into my already limited budget. I was honestly very pleasantly surprised in there level of options and almost everything I saw was beautiful and made of high quality materials which I knew would last and still look current and new 10 years down the line.

I left and came back the next day with the boss/my wife and she actually agreed on the choice I had made the previous day. My wife and I purchased our beautiful new flooring that afternoon and even with purchasing such a uniquely beautiful high quality flooring replacement, we were even more ecstatic while seeing that the final price after tax was still within the set spending limit that we had prearranged very conservatively.

The employees helped us every step of the way and still gave me room to browse on my own. We decided to use the remaining money that was still left in the budget and we bought a gorgeous rug that ended up being the perfect rug to complement to our prior flooring purchase. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and they were actually very happy and excited for our soon to be updated great room that they gave us an additional 10 percent off the rug.

I am a 53 year old man as of next month with 2 kids in college who obviously can't sleep and also a man whom has never written any kind of product or store review, at leas nothing so positive. I hope that my insomnia that led me to take the time to help out other people to at the very least visit this store in which I believe is only 1 of 3 separate locations throughout New Jersey.

Thank you to the entire amazingly kind and knowledgeable staff for there time and respecting both my budget and not trying to up sell me when I informed them about my personal spending limit. Basically, if you seek the best and want to get the best of everything then visit a World Wide floor coverings institution location that is within the closest proximity to your home.

I hope that this encourages all whom have read this to take a chance on an average working stiff who has money but definitely not that I would waste. I should probably also say that i have no financial connection or anything in which I will gain or benefit from other then helping those who have similar lives to my own possibly catch a much overdue and deserved break in life like I did.
