Woodworker's Supply

First time visiting. Felt like a kid in a candy shop! The guys at the front counter were helpful when needed but, otherwise carried on with their own to-do's. Was nice to feel like I could breathe without an associate on my back trying to score a sale. Variety of products offered. Prices seemed to be market-competitive but, fair. Well DEFINITELY be returning.

They inexplicably do not offer gift certificates. I was going to buy one for a Christmas gift for the woodworker in my life. I'm sure it's a great store but I have no idea what to buy her so I was going to let her pick. I guess I'll have to figure something else out. It was an odd in-person experience.

Found these folks online, and am very happy that I did. Small error in my order was caught, and they called for additional information. Package was packed and shipped faster than I had imagined it would be after we sorted out the glitch. Solid folks. Thank you.

Just moved to ABQ and saw WS from the highway so stopped by to check it out. I have ordered a few things from them online in the past and have been very pleased with the service and selection.

The staff they are very friendly. they very thing of wood working tool and accessory you can think of. if they not cary in store they can order it for you with no hassle at all. product it just a litte bit pricey but it there when you need it. overall I love to come to this store to get my toys.

Enjoyable experience. Not a lot of stock in store but the workers I dealt with were very knowledgeable and helpful with woodworking. A majority of their stock appears to be online. Thank you all for the help today. :D

One of the best places to shop if your a woodworker (pro or novice). Staff are experts and extremely knowledgeable. If you can't find what your looking for they will. They know the store inside out,

Always friendly and seems like they always have what you need when it comes to woodworking. They offer a catalogue which is very helpful. They are a warehouse and store. Larger tools are a bit pricy but they are good brand names. If you need something specific for woodwork. This is the only place to go.

I'm starting to get back into woodworking and have been in this store several times over the last 6 months, and spent near $1,000 on a power tool in January (after having to haggle over the price which did not match the online price). On each visit, I was ignored when entering the store, and had to roust someone each time to get help. Two days ago was the final straw, went into the stored intending to spend ~$200 only to be ignored again, even after loitering some around power tools. There were more employees than there were customers, seems to me this place doesn't want my business, so will be making future purchases NOT HERE!

To me, (I suppose I qualify as a semi-professional woodworker) Woodworker's Supply is a venerable institution, a rarity in the Internet age, where you can communicate directly with real people who are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable -- not just a bunch of clerks or salespeople, but professionals in their own right. The store has a great selection of tools, hardware, finishing materials and supplies onsite, and pretty much anything they may not have locally can be ordered easily from a vast selection available through their catalog. I recommend Woodworker's Supply highly to anyone with a serious interest of the art and craft of woodworking.

It must be an industry thing as everyone who I asked to work on my custom bar back project has been unwilling to take my money due to the job not being 'large enough'. After having me take photos of my existing bar and rough sketch a design I was told that they would pass as they are too busy and they did not want to get involved with my project. I offered to compensate them for their time but my offer was declined.
