A trip to Venice became a career defining experience for designer Dorian Webb. As a student at Yale University, Dorian spent a semester in Italy to study architecture. But her eyes kept straying to the colorful glass beads she saw in the shop windows. They kept piles of these wonderful beads in bowls, Dorian remembers. I kept going back to look at them.

As a junior at Yale University spending a semester abroad, Dorian came to appreciate the artistry and tradition of Venetian glassblowing.
Inspiration is everywhere. Beauty is easily discovered in the everyday rhythms of life. I find it in the unabashed boldness of a flower, the enveloping comfort of a cashmere sweater and the vibrancy of new surroundings. Crafting an object by hand is a noble pursuit. To me, a handcrafted object is the manifestation of one person's hopeful efforts to bring joy to another.

I ordered the Initial Pendant and it is FANTASTIC! I've been looking around trying to find the perfect pendant, something that will standout but not be over the top. I came across Dorian's website and knew instantly I found the pendant I'd been looking for! The craftsmanship is absolutely incredible. I would definitely recommend Dorian's jewelry. The pendant was my first purchase I've made from her, but it most definitely won't be the last! I highly recommend her!
