These folks are awesome! Know what they are doing, and are full of good advice - and they take good care of military! I work with Johnny when I go. They installed my steel bumpers, even had to do some custom work on the rear to get the tailgate to open. Also ordered an ARE cap, and Decked through them. Just the beginning of all the work they will be doing on my rig!

I've had three two trucks and a Jeep done at trick trucks. Chrome wheels, spotlights and strobes, tinted windows, suspension enhancements, offsets. I've ordered parts and always had a good experience dealing with these guys. Both for my work trucks as well as my pleasure vehicle. For a custom accessory shop their prices are commensurate to the other non-custom shops. Service is good and been going there for years now. So every time I buy another work truck from my business it goes there to get accessorized.

The entire team Trick Trucks was AMAZING, I cannot thank them enough. Long story short, U-Haul lost a part I ordered for my hitch installation, causing me to miss my installation appointment and the pickup of my trailer, 1 day before my scheduled move. I was frantically calling everywhere trying to find someone to install my hitch after the U-Haul issue and no luck anywhere- until I called Trick Trucks.

They were completely booked, but listened to my situation and had me bring my vehicle in and worked between scheduled appointments to get my hitch installed. They were so friendly and efficient and literally saved my move. I cannot express my gratitude enough! Thank you SO much to the entire team! HIGHLY recommend!

Brought my 2018 Toyota Highlander in to get a bug shield, and a rear bumper guard. When I walked in, I was greeted and told you can give me your keys and we'll get you in! They were waiting for me and I was 15 min. early. They had the vehicle in and out in no time and both items looked so good and gave my vehicle a little extra sparkle! Had a great experience with Trick Trucks in Waldorf, MD.

I am from Ontario, Canada and have never visited Trick Trucks. I have no idea of the quality of work Trick Trucks does but other reviews will speak for themselves in that regard. What I can tell you is about a guy named Larry. I had no idea where to go for a suspension lift for my very first truck (94 Dakota). Google showed me no great results in my area.

However Trick Trucks showed up. I ended up calling them despite being 1000 km away and speaking with Larry. He stuck with me on the phone and helped me figure out the steps I needed to take to fix my truck, despite not having any $ coming his way from me. He simply said "get your parts and give us a call. We'll help you get through this." Honestly, makes me feel good that we have genuine people like Larry in our world.

He's been around at Trick Trucks since the 80s. I don't doubt for a second that they have nearly 5 stars after 70 reviews - sounds like a great company with a great bunch of guys. Thanks again larry!

Great service with experienced technicians. Got my Jeep Wrangler lifted 4.5" with 37" Nitto tires. Very pleased and happy with the professionalism Trick Trucks has showed. I recommend everyone looking for aftermarket accessories to go here, as they've been in the business since 1974.

Excellent customer service and very helpful even during the pandemic. They are up front about things and work with you to make sure you get what you are looking for. I'm not sure about what the one-star reviews are about other than people who asked for the wrong thing and got what they asked for (e.g., the lifted truck). The prices are more than fair and the service exceeds expectations. These guys have been awesome in customizing my Jeep.

I just left the shop in Kensington where I had an appointment to upgrade my shocks. After waiting a few minutes in the showroom I was asked to walk back to my truck to see an issue I would need to address immediately. They explained the options available to me and even suggested local shops that might help prior to installing the shocks. It's good to see a business looking out for a customer. I will support this business as much as possible and recommend my friends do the same.

WaS extremely disappointed in this location and management! He told me to F--k off even though I am paying for Service. He also hung up the phone on me! I would never recommend anyone going here and working with LARRY THE STORE MANAGER THAT CURSES AT CUSTOMERS. This is the worst truck trucks that I have ever dealt with in my great career. HE HAS SUCH A BAD ATTITUDE

I recommend them highly for service I didn't get. I needed a tow bar installed on my car, but when I went into talk with them, the guy who helped me said that Maryland requires additional items to tow a car behind an RV. They could install the tow bar, sure, but he wanted me to know all the information connected to the decision instead of just taking my money and letting me learn about the other stuff on my own. It takes an amazing amount of integrity for a small business to do something like that.

So I had a brand new set of cab lights on my truck that had them previously and they charged me to put them on. They also told me there is no way they could guarantee it wouldn't leak. I call them back after 3 days of purposely not washing my truck and yet again they have moisture in the lens. I had them installed on July 13th. Not even two weeks and the lights don't work. Now they want me to spend more money to fix the light they installled that leaks.

We take multiple vehicles to Trick Trucks in Kensington for any modifications to our company vehicles we may need. Getting on their schedule never took more than a few days and the customer service was always delightful. The guys there really know their stuff. We've had them install alarm systems with remote starts, fancy ladder racks, truck ladders, custom lights, storage boxes, and much more.

Recently we brought them a new vehicle and they were able to fix all the little odds and ends at a good price. I highly recommend this company for any type of custom vehicle services you may need!

Went in here last week for the first time to just put on some tires on my Escalade, they staff was very warm and friendly, nice. The store was exceptionally clean and a very nice place to be. They squeezed me right in, I didn't have to wait too long at all, and the job was done. I would recommend this place to anyone. They were really nice and it was overall a great experience.

If I could give 1/4 of a star that's what they would get. I went to Trick Trucks in Waldorf at the recommendation of a friend who does business with them. I spoke to Larry earlier in the day and shared with him what I was looking for and informed him that I was going to drop in to see them later today. Sadly when I walked in the shop I spoke but did not get a response from the gentleman (I assumed him to be Larry), behind the counter. Assuming he did not hear me, I approached the counter while still attempting to engage in a conversation with the person.

As I got to the counter without even acknowledging my presence, he informed me that he was busy and pointed me to the younger gentleman who had walked in the store. I approached that gentleman explaining that I was refered to them by (name of company my friend worked), that did not seem to faze him one little bit. After explaining to him what I was looking for he walked me to the front of the store, briefly stated to me that he could not tell me what to get.

He then showed me a cover and before I could ask questions about it he walked away to serve a white female who had walked into the store long after I was there. Here I was a black male, professionally dressed, yet was treated with no respect. I began walking towards the counter to enquire about the cover, but realized this was probably not the store for a black person to patronize.

If I was treated like that while dressed in a suit, I pity the black person who walks in there dressed in a tee shirt and jeans. Under no circumstance will I recommend this place to anyone with integrity. I hope the franchise owner send some customers in there undercover to expose their habits. I called my friend and informed him of my experience there in the hope that he will neither recommend them in the future, and take his business somewhere else

I went in there about noon on a Tuesday to inquire about wheels, tires and exhaust for my Tundra. I was the ONLY person in the store other then an older guy doing something behind the counter. Not once did he look up to acknowledge me even when I was about five feet from him near the counter that he was standing behind. Only once I said "how's it going" did he open his mouth only to repeat the same back to me. Then continued to do whatever was SO important behind the counter. Will NOT go back to that store and will advise others not to as well.

Don't ever go there terrible customer service, the guy who works there name Ron constantly gets an attitude with the customers and snaps at you. I suspect the place of having a racial overtone

Being rude and scoffing at customers is really not a good service model, so perhaps this store really WANTS to close. I came in to ask about a console wastebasket to fit my husband's truck. Two staffers were behind the counter, one was waiting on a customer and the other was having a loud, obviously personal conversation on the phone ( I got to hear all about the friend who's a stay at home dad and goes fishing all day, because his wife is head of a hospital department and they have "uber money" and a mansion on B----- Street. ).

He never put down the phone or walked away to speak in private the entire time I was in the shop. The other older staff member finished with the customer and asked if he could help me. When I told him what I was looking for, he snorted and said " we don't have anything like that, " and then " sounds like you need to tie a Wal-Mart bag on the seat somewhere." Really genius? It's okay to say you don't carry those products, but snickering and basically rolling your eyes when asked about them is unnecessary and rude.

Clearly by the Yelp reviews, other customers have had similar unpleasant experiences. If helping customers is such a source of irritation, maybe it's time for these folks to shut down. I went from their store to the nearby Waldorf Ford dealership Parts department, where two gentlemen listened respectfully to my description of what I wanted, and even though they didn't have a suitable solution either, they tried to make suggestions and behaved like professionals. I would go to Ford again, but NEVER to Trick Trucks.

I needed a truck and stopped in at my local Trick Trucks, just on a chance that they knew of a customer selling a vehicle. Coincidentally they did! The owner, Larry, had a used Tahoe for sale on the lot. It had pretty high mileage so I was a bit sceptical, even though it looked brand new. He assured me that he had been doing the maintenance on the vehicle the entire time the original owner had it.

It needed tires and so after some negotiation I bought the truck. I can tell you that this truck was the best vehicle purchase I have made. I had my regular mechanic look at it and he said he couldn't believe the age of my truck. He said that whoever had been taking care of it did an amazing job. Even now, at 208,000 miles it is running like it just rolled off the showroom floor. Thanks Trick Trucks!

I went to Trick Trucks to have a hitch put on and a broken window replaced in the cap on my Tacoma. The owner was unpleasant, surly, unfriendly, and very unhelpful & UNcommunicative. Meanwhile, the younger guy who worked for him at the front desk was nice, but unfortunately, the nice guy wasn't there the day i went in to have the work done on my truck.

The man who owns acts like it's an inconvenience to help customers, to answer simple questions, and worse, he is surly about it. Or, maybe he just hates women, who knows, not my problem. Plainly this jerk doesn't need MY money. He charged me a WAY higher price than I was quoted, so after i questioned the price, he said he could work something out, but then made me pay the same much higher price anyway! I advise everyone: take your business elsewhere. You don't need this kind of treatment.

Do not go here. Plain and simple, they're over priced, and they don't know what they are doing. When I took my truck to get a cap put on it they took hours to wire it. So when they finally finished I leave thinking they got everything wired correctly (WRONG). They hooked the high mount brake light in the cap to a turn signal wire instead of a brake light wire so it would only turn on when I had my left turn signal on.

Then they tried to lie to me saying the GM wiring diagram was misleading. Anybody with half, no a quarter of a brain could wire a high mount brake light on a truck cap, but these guys obviously fell short. Then I had to deal with the owners unruly dog who kept jumping on me while I was waiting the second time. I will never go back and I hope you don't either.
