Signed a contract with Perma Built to build us a detached garage on our property. They scheduled a site visit, came back to sign contact and begin submitting permits to the city. City contacted us saying we could not build a detached structure on our lot, and permit declined. We contacted Perma Built and they told us they knew nothing about this and contacted the city, and were told the exact same thing.

We then asked about getting our deposit refunded minus any costs for their time and engineering work. After multiple phone calls to them, and never hearing back we keep getting told someone will look into it. And here we are. Still no calls, responses or any effort of them working to resolve this. Wouldn't waste your time. All sounds great initially, but good luck if things don't workout to build, and you request your deposit back. The contract clearly states deposit to be refunded minus any costs incurred. All I'm asking is for what the contract we signed, says.

Dealing with this highly professional company was a breeze. The quality of work done is top notch. The workers were efficient and polite. I could not be happier!

Greetings! We started the process of trying to get our new garage going back just before Covid19 arrived on the scene. So, dealing with the City of Everett Planning Office became nearly impossible, what with all the shutdowns occurring. Then plans were finally submitted and rejected due to zoning issues in the area we live in! Then, the city finally made changes to the zoning and, working with Perma-Bilt, a second set of plans were submitted and OK'd!

With all these delays a date was set, but was quite a ways out with the Covid restrictions be eased and everyone wanting their construction to get going. But after eight days short of a year and a half from the start of the process, thanks to Catherine and the rest of the group, they were able to start on our 28ft x 24ft garage! Craig Miller Excavation did an excellent job with the site prep work and, even with some delivery delays holding some things up, Pedro and his crew and the concrete guys were able to finish up within three to four weeks!

My wife and I can't say enough of how professional and courteous all persons involved with this project have been and how satisfied we are with how everything turned out! Alot of the neighbors have been very complementary as to how this has turned out and we would be glad to recommend Perma-Bilt to anyone looking to have c construction done on their site! Thanks Perma-Bilt and all involved!

We contacted Town and Country Permabilt in Lynnwood to construct a 1300 square foot pole-frame building. From the start the company was very easy to work with. There was delay due to the general malaise of the pandemic but Permabilt was able to move up our start date by three months. In ten days the building was completed to a very high standard of work.

It is striking in appearance. This company may have been a little more expensive but the representative designed the building according to our wishes rather than just putting up a' stock' structure. Communications were superb throughout, and even followup was ideal. Highly recomnend!

We really wanted a garage built. However, after a year we've given up on working with them. We were promised quotes multiple times over a 9 month span. We had appointments scheduled that were canceled after the fact. After talking with a manager, we finally received our quote. Now that we want to proceed we are not getting any responses back. Today we decided to go with a different company.

T&C Permabilt built us a 24x36 garage, 10 months from the day I signed the contract to final inspection. Very happy with the construction crew square & level. Kathrin & Jim in the construction office were very helpful, everyone else seemed like they could care less. Permitting & accounts receivable also get an A+. Overall we LOVE our new building.

We had to wait - a really long time - due to permitting issues, and ended up getting our permit approved at the beginning of 2021. Our construction was scheduled to begin in May/June but they got us started in February and done in April! I appreciated that they cared about how long we had to wait and that someone always answered the phone or called me back.

I stayed pretty involved the the process and checked up on my permit statues pretty often. I think in Seattle that is just the way it goes with building permits, you have to make yourself part of the process. I would do it again and am really happy with our garage. I had no issues with the crew from Permabilt in terms of cleanliness. I had some cigarette butts to clean up from people they contracted with but the building crew was great!

We have T&C Build our shop in our backyard. They did amazing work. The crew was on-time and organized and made sure we were happy along the way. A month after our shop was built another company came out to pave for us and they ran into our shop and dented it. I called Permabilt and they were able to get us on the calendar to come to the repairs. I highly recommend them!

We had Town & Country / Permabilt build a 24x30 foot "Daylight" shop in our backyard. Originally they had us slated to begin construction in January 2021, but they reached out a few months ago that they might have an opening sooner. We ended up completing final inspection a little over a week ago. Once construction began, everything went up fairly quick. They handled all the permits, so no hassle on our end for that. Everything seems well constructed and we expect to get quite a bit of use out of it for many years to come.

The 30x36 monitor shop just finished this week. The construction of the building and the final product look fantastic next to the house. I was very pleased with the professionalism and courtesy of the contractors. Also appreciated the cleanliness of the work area after the work was completed each day. The only negative to add is the length of time it took to get the construction started. We signed the contract on 12-19-2019. But due to the pandemic, I certainly understand the delays.

On the whole, I am satisfied with Town & Country PermaBilt company. We contracted them to build an RV Garage on an island property. From Sales to finalizing plans and permits; to construction and installation, the work went pretty smoothly considering the COVID19 shut down and restrictions. Up front, there are a lot of contractual forms to sign, with legal language written in favor of T&C versus the client.

There are a lot of caveats about overages for any delays, improper grading of the site by client's vendor, and change orders. The good news about this, everything is written and spelled out clearly so no surprises. T&C hires independent contractors to do the construction and specialty installations. For the most part, these contractors are decent, professional and know their trade. However, there were some misunderstandings and miscommunication by a few of these contractors.

One crew started out doing excellent work but after 2 weeks on site, they seemed to be more interested in their next job and unfortunately cut corners and made mistakes. When we called T&C, they immediately arranged to fix the issues. Another issue came up with the color of the gutters not matching our trim. What was called "Dark Grey" turned out to be "Light Gray." The T&C expeditor immediately scheduled replacement gutters for the following week.

We weren't charged for this change as we weren't shown color chips for that specific items. All in all, T&C is a good company to work with. They have all the professionalism of a Fortune 500 company yet they work with the client like a local company, very personable and conscientious.

Salesman was nice and helpful, some of the office staff was nice. Others were kind of nightmares to deal with. Building crew was horrible, set my building too high, then I had to argue with permabilt for 3 weeks until they did an investigation and came to the same conclusion that the building crew screwed up and they needed to re level my pad. They also left garbage at my house for 10 days. 9 days longer than they said they would.

The building crew threw concrete in my field ranging in size of base ball to basket ball, and then argued with my wife when she told them to pick it up and haul it off. No one gave them permission to throw trash around my property. Nor did they have permission to bring a goat to my house, not allowing my dog to roam his own property. I had a lot of discrepancies with the building and someone came out to fix them.

I had a giant pile of sand I wanted out of my driveway. but apparently when they screwed up it was my fault. They wouldn't take the sand away but had no problem spreading it around, now I track sand into my shop when I asked them to put a little in front of the doors to build a ramp then spread the rest off to the sides. Thanks for taking 30 thousand dollars and leaving my with a huge mess guys. Oh and I much appreciate the giant litter box that's in front of my shop.love all the cat poop that keeps appearing. Extremely unprofessional.

Honestly, the building is done fairly well. Like other reviewers, there are nails that completely missed. I am disappointed with how messy they left the building. Stickers still on windows. Sawdust everywhere. I had to go in with brooms and shop vacs and goo be gone to clean up. I was told they would do that, but never did. The reason this place gets 2 stars is because of the in office staff.

No one communicates witheach other at all. I understand construction has its delays and issues, but the issues were all due to lack of communication. Staying on top of them became a full time job. They always used the "it's construction" excuse, when they were just not doing any part of their job. I went with Permabilt because my salesman promised me an office staff that was always there and help along the way.

I could have gone with a much cheaper company (by about $20k) that only had a construction crew and I should have. I paid the extra money for a knowledgeable and staff that would communicate and help the project move smoothly. All the office staff did was hold things up. Save your money, and just hire a crew and a kit and avoid the permabilt nonsense.

Great company. I spent a lot of time researching Post Frame builders for my 20' x 30' shop. Town and Country showed strong reviews and I decided to contract my work with them. I am glad I did. The entire process, from initial planning to completion was very positive. Everyone I dealt with along the way, from the salespeople, to the construction crews were highly professional and kept me well informed along the way. The building is top quality and looks amazing. I would definitely use them again!

Great experience from start to finish! Overall good communication with everyone involved at Town & Country. Timelines for project start as well as build time were exactly as discussed with no cost overages. Really impressed with the construction team, who built us a top notch garage that was exactly as planned. The construction crew was very conscientious and upon completion hauled all the trash away and left the build site spotless. When does that ever happen? We highly recommend using Town & Country Permabilt.

My first project like this and I couldn't be happier. Working with town and country has given me new faith in contractors. The framing crew that built my 20 x 20 garage was professional and informative. I've already referred to my friends and neighbors.

My husband just had a shop built by Town & Country Permabilt. The planning and permitting were a breeze, the building process was a nightmare. The communication was non-existent and every time he called nobody knew anything. The first issue started when concrete was delivered to be poured and then it wasn't. Apparently the level building site which Permabilt said was good to go was no longer level correctly for the concrete pour due to the dirt dug out by their crew to place the posts.

My husband was then told by Permabilt it was our responsibility to ensure that it was ready for the concrete pour. We read the contract front to back and nowhere could we find a clause stating that was our responsibility mid project and if it was wouldn't you think they'd of checked it before arranging for the concrete delivery? At building completion, getting the punch list completed took 6 weeks!

We had an issue with the trim strip above all our windows. After calling, sending in pictures and emailing were told that is how they are supposed to look. Interesting because on their website not a single building had window top trim that looked like ours. In the picture, the right is our building and left is a building from their website. We were finally told they'd fix it, which required new side panels because of how they cut the trim into it.

Those supplies arrived and sat outside the shop for almost a month. The crew does not clean up the job site either as they advertise. My husband and I cleaned up all the debris, garbage etc. If it's important to you to get the level of service and product advertised I'd skip using this company.

Before you sign on the dotted line make sure to ask how long will it take to finish construction. It does take time for the permits but your permit expires before construction begins is sad!

Permit was slow but construction was fast and professional and very quick. From start to finish was just a few weeks and the quality for the price can't be beat. Look forward to getting a car into the new garage. Received many a call during construction to alert of changes in schedule or just original schedule. Would recommend to others.

I like my building now that it is done. I feel it was a good value for what I paid. The guy who did the bidding was professional and the crew who built the structure was hard working and quick. The bad part is it took a really long time to build it. It seems they lost their build crew for my area because they quit on them. The build crew that came up from Port Orchard area were great but it caused me to wait an additional 4 months.

The sub contractors all complained that Perma Bilt was a notorious for low paying their contractors.nobody seemed happy to work for them. The concrete floor had cracked within a month between the building supports. Not sure if its due to the type of concrete or not but as the concrete chips out growing wider, I may have to readdress it before the life of the building is up.

They have a variety of building colors but the gutters, vents and doors won't match unless you go for white. They charged an extra 500 for concrete to meet code requirements, they bid at the very minimum. I would of 2 starred them but the bam sheet inspector at the end fixed the problems. When done I felt like a dealt with the Donald Trump of pole buildings.

The extra time with the permits were mainly because they build at the very cheapest. I got what I paid for but I think if I had spent a little more, I would of supported a company that wasn't so cut throat at the cost of their employees and I would of had my product faster.

I had a carport build done by this company it was 10 months cradle to grave, the office has horrible communication with the customer. I would give higher stars based only on the guys who did the work. Most of there problems came ftom thee office also. Poor support the wrong drawings and forever to get any answers from there office. The guys on the job where great.

I could tell they took pride in there job. I asked the office to please give me a week notice before construction. It didn't happen. The builders just showed up. Not there fault. Office never callled me. Lucky my wife was home or the guys doing the work just drove 80 miles for no reason. I have security gates i told the office and salesmen several times, still never happened.

I hope i dont have any issues with the 24 x 30 carport because i am sure the office will just make excuses. Very poor customer service, havent heard a pep from anyone since i sent them the final payment. I bought a new truck heard from them twice in two months. Lol. Looking to have another project done soon but i will never use or recommend permabilt.

Reached out to Town & Country after a friend recommended. They reached out to me quickly with a bid and options for what I was looking for. This is probably one of the easiest companies I've worked with in regards to financing - communicated with me, educated me, gave me options.

Good Company with Great Staff who obviously care about their customers. Yes they do have a bit of a wait to get started building but I've seen their work and it is worth waiting for. I'm happy to wait my turn for one of these fabulous buildings. As the proverb says "All Good Things Come To Those That Wait"

The worst experience I have ever had with any company, took over six months to finally complete my building( should have been done in about four weeks) once they have your deposit they have EVERY excuse you can think of not to be working on the project. ( they will tell you to read the contract as this is there out for every excuse. Highly recommend you find a different company to build your building. Second day out they wanted more money to dig the holes for poles as my ground was rocky! PS read the contract they say! again! Don Dennis

I requested a bid for a barn/shop in June 2015. I called monthly asking when I would get a bid. There was always an excuse. health issues, dog ate the bid, weather related disasters, plague, famine and the other apocalyptic things that are scheduled to occur in the end of times. but never a bid. Six months later I called the corporate office in Lynnwood, WA and asked for the sales manager. 10 minutes later I get a call from the AWOL sales guy in Vancouver, WA.

The sales guy is Jeff W. He had been sick and apologized for not getting back to me. really? Really. Sorry if you are really sick Jeff but talk about a poster child experience for the prototype BAD customer experience. Six months and they still needed more time. I called the sales manager back. She wasn't available or willing to take the call.

I give up! Fyi, I called a competing company in the Vancouver area today. They got me a bid same day. Not six months; not six weeks; not six days. not even six hours! They start in three weeks. If they can't be professional enough to answer a call of deliver a simple estimate are you really going to trust them with tens of thousands of dollars to build something for you?!

I certainly hope not. UPDATE: 03-2017 I needed another building so I figured what the heck. In the end their pricing was high. But for the record, their service level was much improved.

The garage that we FINALLY received is awesome so if I were rating on that alone, they'd get 5 stars. However, the customer service and moral integrity of the company are severely compromised. If you are told anything by your salesman about your project, make sure you get it in writing. This company is all about the precious contract and if it isn't in the contract, it doesn't exist.

We were told we'd have a garage 1 month after we submitted the permits and it took almost 4 months for a finished product. And that's only because we inquired about what was taking so long. I'm sure it would've been longer had we not questioned, and they will grant you nothing for your inconvenience. Had they given us a realistic time line, we probably would have gone with the company we got a cheaper quote from. No moral fiber or honesty here.
