Icynene is a spray-in-place, soft foam insulation system. Sprayed on as a liquid, Icynene expands to over one hundred times its initial volume within seconds to fully insulate and air seal a building in one step. Icynene uses water as the blowing agent in the foam. There are no CFC's, HCFC's, formaldehyde, or other volatile organic chemicals that can off gas into the home over time.
Services
The installation went in fine, only took about 3.5 hours for everything as you suggested it might. Your crew was very enjoyable to work with and did a very good job. In preparing the site I noted that they took adequate precautions to insure that all locations received the product and they did a very good job of taping off the windows and doors to protect from overspray. After I finished the cleanup, I cleaned my furnace out and turned it on. The room temperature went from 51 to 65 in a very short time.

Honest workers and company - they did a great job with my smaller insulation project. Per my discussions before arrival, we thought a more dense foam was appropriate. However, Walter with his years of experience did the right thing by letting me know that a less dense but better spreading foam would be the perfect solution for my space and goals, which included insulating AND sealing the house to prevent mice from entering.
They turned off the system, packed up the truck, and returned the next day with the lower density better spreading foam. They spent man hours and gas on a small job but came back the next day with the more appropriate foam to ensure it was done correctly the first time. Any other company would've just sprayed what they had and moved on, but it would not have been the solution I was looking for. The foam was expertly applied and they have earned my trust when I eventually do the entire attic in the future.

This is the second home that we have used Dason and his team. As always, they were professional, on time and completed the work as promised. Icene is a great product and I highly recommend having Thermal Comfort add value and energy savings to any home, even if it's as simple a job as replacing fiberglass with foam insulation to your basement rim joists.

We have been in a 2 year long build with many facets. I reached out to Dason at the very beginning about the project and his professional insight was spot on. I had very specific engineering requirements for our build to achieve a very high performance, Thermal comfort gave us what I required. I had a previous Spray foam contractor from a prior build and received 3 additional bids for this 2020 project.
I choose Thermal comfort from the 4 companies for several reasons and I am very pleased that I did. Closed cell IMO is the only way to go, that said the install is critical and the site crew was fantastic. George, was the lead and listened to my install concerns and did an excellent job. Rich and Walt were also on hand and also did great. They accommodated us the best possible in the timing of our project. They were thorough, conscientious and and their site prep and clean up was excellent. We have future projects and they will be our insulation contractor from now on.

Thermal Comfort exceeded my expectations for scheduling my project, and the quality of their work is excellent. They did a great job of protecting everything prior to application, and the cleanup was done well. As a retired architect and professional engineer, I expect and watch for quality, and was very pleased with this company. I recommend this company to anyone requiring good foam insulation at a good value.

Excellent communication both other the phone and emails. Answered all of my detailed questions about closed cell spray foam installation on my attic conversion. On installation day, they arrived on time and were easy to work with. The spray foam installation itself was excellent with very consistent thickness. They did a great job protecting the skylights and windows from over spray. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a spray foam installer.
