These are the core values that Art and Robert White founded our company upon in 1961. While we have grown from our modest beginnings in Villa Park, IL as subcontractors installing commercial chain link fences, we continue to deliver on this promise today. Robert's son, Dean, has continued the family legacy as we have become one of Chicagoland's largest fence installation companies.

I had a wooden fence installed in 2008. By 2010 the posts rotted out because of poor quality installation the concrete for the footings were improperly poured. Allowing water to rot the fence posts. When I called for warranty based on poor installation, a representative came by, and said there was nothing that can be done and The Fence Store never returned any of my future calls. I was required to anchir metal posts to the wood posts to keep my fence upright. Will be replacing my fence on my own this year. Beware of this company.

My son works for this company. They did an excellent job putting up the fence and left the property neat and clean. Would highly recommend using them for your fence installation.

The Fence Store salesman, Tom, is unwilling to provide information unless you drive to Melrose Park to tell him the dimensions. He hung up on me after I described the fence material and dimensions. Tom expected me to give him the brand name of the fence because he didn't want to look it up. I explained that I don't know the brand name and that's why I'm calling the fence store. Not cool.

Our fence was damaged in a storm. The Fence Store came out that day for an estimate and had our fence looking like new in less than a week. Great service! I would highly recommend them!

A big negative on customer service. Tom Becker who handles service calls is very rude and abrasive. I had a fence installed years ago and am in need of some minor repairs. I asked to use the same repair person I have been using for years and he did not want to send that person out. He was not very accommodating. He was very short with me and acted annoyed because I requested a certain person.

I guess customer loyalty doesnt matter. He instead wanted to send a salesman trying to upsell what I needed. I don't need a sales man. I need a gate and post adjusted not a big deal. I have had both adjusted before and know the expected cost. The Fence Store is now owned by Home Depot. So much for small business owners. I would rather support a small business owner who does repairs. I will also be taking the plate with their name on it off my fence.
