Reagan Lampe is the BEST! She helped us place artwork at a few of our Senior Housing facilities and with her design ability and talent left our sites perfected and better than imagined! We will definitely be using her team in the near future!

My husband and I were set to close on a new home in April. Since I work from a home office, my husband and I wanted an office set up almost immediately upon moving in. It is a requirement for me to work effectively, as you can imagine. In February, we began working on the layout of our office. We had two companies that we received quotes from. One company was less expensive but would take 6-8 weeks to install.

Design Studio claimed that they could get the job done in 2-3 weeks. We decided that we would go with them as they could get us ready much more quickly. Several weeks went into planning the office as the Design Studio came in more than double our budget. After several changes and meeting in the middle, we ordered our cabinets and counter top and paid the half down, as required.

A week later, we were told that it would be 6-8 weeks before our cabinets came in due to a large influx of orders at the manufacturer. Slight kink and we weren't pleased but we try not to ruffle feathers. Finally, the day of the install.except.the wrong cabinets were ordered.they didn't have the correct sizes to finish the job. They put a rush on it which meant that it would only be 5-6 weeks.

Day of second install. Canceled day before because cabinets didn't come in. Two weeks later, our new cabinets are installed. Now we have to wait 2-3 weeks for the "rush" countertop. Day of countertop install. The installers did not call my husband as specified so that he could meet them and let them in. They call the liaison at Design Studio who instructs them to look for an open door and let themselves in.

They do this and at that time, decided to drill holes based on the temporary plywood top that I had been using to get by. Not centered and not anywhere close to where we wanted. They also put a large gouge in our cabinets in three spots. SO, after a severely botched up job, a group of strangers being told to come into our home without our permission (and then give themselves free reign to go into garage and find our plywood and who knows what else), we were, needless to say, livid. Resolution.

Replace cabinet skins and get a new counter top, ,,b ut not before waiting another 5-6 weeks, of course. In the mean time, we get a very nice card that asks us to pay the remaining balance on our account. Seriously?!?! So, today is August 29th. My installers who were supposed to be here at 9 am have yet to show. I called and found out that they aren't coming until later, yet I was never notified.

I am left to clear my schedule once again and await, in hopes that this can be taken care of today. 2-3 weeks turned into 7 MONTHS. The consolation? We aren't sure yet. Honestly, if I could have them take the cabinets out and get a refund, I would have done that three months ago. The communication and confusion on behalf of the Design Studio has solidified the fact that we will NEVER take our business there again.

There were many other hiccups along the way but cliff notes versions say that this process was a disaster. I moved meetings, cancelled work trip and arranged my schedule more time that I can remember just to be notified that it was for naught and I would have to do it again. The only positive that I can offer is that Terry, our cabinet installer, was amazing and went above and beyond. I would welcome a call from the owner to discuss in greater detail.
