Have to question there professionalism and safety, when employees let their dogs run loose in the street. I almost hit the poor dog twice and seen truck swerve and narrowly miss it also. It dangerous and negligent.

This is the BEST place to buy glass and supplies. They have everything you could ever want and the staff here is always knowledgeable, helpful and very kind. They can suggest the BEST tool for the job you need to do, and there are even saws and grinders you can try out so you can be sure you get the one that you like. And the GLASS! WOW! Any color or texture you can dream of, and whole bunch that you NEVER dreamed existed, in all kinds of colors and textures. My husband does stained glass and I do fusing and we just love going to Sunshine. It is always worth the trip from Syracuse.

I got a ton of help through email and over the phone. My order was packed and shipped amazingly fast, and it just arrived well packed and intact. Very happy that I found this glass store, the shipping cost was surprisingly low, even all the way to California. Will definitely order again.

There are several studios around town where you can learn to work in stained glass--and quite a few adult education classes, too. But when it comes to buying supplies for your new hobby, there's really only one place to go: Sunshine Glassworks. The selection of glass in amazing colors and textures from around the world is staggering. From the inexpensive standard colors, all the way up to giant sheets of gold-fleck-infused, hand-poured glass from Europe, you'll find everything you could imagine (and definitely more than most of us could ever afford).

Of course, they also carry all of the other supplies and tools you need to construct things with glass--copper tape for those working in the Tiffany style, lean came, soldering irons, grinders, lamp shade frames and bases, etc. In addition to the excellent selection, the staff is extremely well-versed in stained glass and all the techniques involved. On numerous occasions, they have prevented me (as a newcomer to the craft) from making costly mistakes--or just plain getting in over my head.
