I recently moved to the area and stopped by to see what they carry. They have a good assortment of glass and other essentials. The staff was very accommodating and made me feel welcome! I'll be back for sure.

To Dennis - Did you pay for the use of her expensive saw -- or even offer to? If you were looking for a freebie, it's not surprising for a small shop owner to be a little short. They're worrying about paying the rent and making a living. I like to do things on the cheap, too, but it's important to remember what they're facing. Sure, Mom & Pop stores are supposed to be all friendly and nice, especially to get & keep customers. Customers have to keep their part of the bargain, as well as pay for services rendered.

I am still relatively new to stained glass work. I am currently working on a large panel that has a few very intricate pieces that I am not brave enough to cut myself. So I took the glass I needed cut to VSG for them to cut using a glass saw. The way that the owner acted (I am guessing she was the owner), I felt like I was inconveniencing her with my request.

She was very short with me and some of the remarks she made were borderline rude. Despite being so close, I will definitely make the long drive to other glass shops in the future.
