From Our Website

SEEMAC, Inc. is a diversified wood products sales company dedicated solely to provide an unmatched level of value to our customers and suppliers. We are wood experts. We are problem-solvers and innovative solution providers. We source the highest quality wood products, from basic raw materials to finished products and everything in between, from exclusive, pre-screened suppliers worldwide. We offer sales and inventory management services. We maintain strong strategic alliances with value-add suppliers.

We select our suppliers carefully, and then partner with them. We help our suppliers become more successful, increasing your efficiency and bottom-line profitability. We can serve as your complete sales organization or complement your existing team, knowledgeably representing you and your products to customers nationwide. SEEMAC invests heavily in inventory, and we pay our suppliers very quickly. We carry the financial burden and risk for suppliers when inventory is required, warehousing the inventory on the floor of our customers' plants or at convenient locations for JIT delivery.

SEEMAC supplies a comprehensive selection of architectural moulding and millwork, including base moulding, crown moulding, casings, chair rails and jambs. Made from Gesso-coated or Primed fingerjoint Radiata pine, Taeda pine, Chinese fir, and UltraLight and Light MDF, our products are sourced from qualified vendors around the globe. We guarantee the highest quality through on-site vendor visits and regular quality audits. The value of a SEEMAC partnership doesn't stop with quality. We provide custom logistics solutions for every customer, and our inventory management model gives us the flexibility to meet customer needs with JIT deliveries so you have exactly what you need, when you need it.

Tom Kohlmeier spent more than 40 years helping to turn SEEMAC into the trusted global company it is today. After graduating from Indiana University in 1973, Tom spent a year teaching fifth grade in Stinesville, IN before beginning his SEEMAC career as a salesman in September 1974. With an affinity for the integrity and respect that characterizes SEEMAC, Tom worked his way up to the highest levels of management in the company, serving at various times as Executive Vice President, President and Chief Operating Officer, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of the Board.

At SEEMAC, we're proud of our greatest asset: OUR PEOPLE. SEEMAC was established by Bob Seeburger, a visionary who set the stage for the company's continued dedication to innovation and excellence. In 1952, Bob realized that the furniture industry was going to be unable to supply all they needed on their own and would require additional suppliers. Seeing this evolution in the furniture industry, Bob started a business called the R.F. Seeburger Company and began to build relationships that offered mutual advantages to the supplier and customer. In 1958, the company formed an alliance with Tumac Lumber Co., a Pacific Northwest lumber firm.
