SHIP wants to thank St Luke's Community Health Improvement Fund Grant for the $10000 donation to SHIP Transportation! SHIP provides gender specific safe and sober housing for persons in recovery from substance abuse and mental health issues. SHIP has partnered with the VA to provide housing to homeless veterans through the Safe Harbor and Grant Per Diem programs.

Not going back to where a person in recovery came from may be the single most important reason for Safe and Sober Housing. If you are currently living in a correctional facility, your application will be processed within two weeks of your Tentative Parole Date.

We paid for the first month for my son to stay in a SHIP house, he did not stay one night so when we asked about a refund we were told that $100 deposit would not be refunded.fair enough.lets just say even though my son did not stay a single night they decided to charge us for 2 weeks. The two people we dealt with were extremely rude and ignorant.

Matthew has been extremely helpful, patient and answered all of my questions. He was very compassionate and understanding of the situation I was dealing with.

The new sober living that I'm at shows me how horrible and incompetent the ships house leaders are.

I am a former resident of SHIP housing. What I can tell you is that this program really does help you get back on your feet. They provide a plethora or resources and are always available. I had the opportunity to become a house manager and rent was provided for free. This came with responsibilities and the opportunity helped teach me leadership skills and coping skills that I apply to my life today.

This was very helpful when COS fees and restitution was required with the state. Laurel, Ken, and the rest of the staff all played a vital part in my recovery. I am forever grateful for SHIP and stand by their mission wholeheartedly. Thanks guys!

Great organization that helps support people in recovery. As a former resident in one of the houses, I had a positive experience with SHIP's supportive services. If I did not have access to a solid place to live and people who cared about my progress, I may have had a more difficult time being successful in my recovery.
