True good 'ol customer service for those of us that are not contractors. You won't get that at the big box stores. Great selection! Repaired a 6x6 wood patio support with wood hardener and bondo. Looks like new! Extremely strong too! One stop shopping!

This place is horrible! Nobody at registers getting people out of the place. One guy working, six customers trying to but things. When I asked the one person serving customers if they had more people, his response was "Do you see any more?" This must be a government run operation! I will never step back in this place!

I try to give my business to local companies, but these guys make it hard. I wanted to buy some lumber to repair a fence, after 2 grumpy old men behind the counter treat me like a dumba$$, they tell me they don't have what I'm looking for and don't know where to get it. Funny, DIY hardware just down the street has exactly what I needed. Never again Roadside Lumber :

First time there. They were helpful in directing me to the store. The guys that loaded the wood were very willing. Every one working had a smile.

The manager has reached out to me and addressed my concerns. Most of his staff, work very hard and are very friendly. Also they try to answer questions as good as they can. Since the last incident, I have had only good experiences.

These guys are absolutely the best! I've never dealt with a company in this business that has such a great attitude and willingness to take their time to inform their clients. Their prices are competitive but what makes them exceptional are the people that work there.

Small but very nice store. Lot of items in a small space. The prices are good.

I purchased an extension cord from Roadside Lumber. Not but a few months later cord started to frey and come apart. I went into exchange it for a new one and was told no and that someone had tried to break it. To me this is absurd. Why in the world would I or anyone for that matter "try to break it"? The cord I bought was a heavy duty thick gage cord used for powering construction equipment.

I guess they don't stand by their own brand name products. I told the old guy at the counter Thanks and I won't be shopping here anymore. I always try to support my local businesses as I own one myself. Guess I'll have to start shopping at big box stores where they stand by their products.

Kenny & Joe Figueroa are the best! Every time I call in, Kenny & Joe always go out of their ways to assist me with my orders & I really appreciate it all of their hard work!

Today I walked into the old Agoura Paint store. 3 guys behind the counter, 1 guy dusting the front of the counter, 1 guy in the isle stocking, 1 guy behind a desk and only one guy in the paint area who was busy. It was like I was invisible. Stood there for several minutes without any help I finally went to the guy dusting the front of the counter and he took me to the paint area and told me to wait, then another guy came out of no where, handed me a brochure and said he'd be right back.

Never came back. Feeling like it is because I'm a woman. I haven't felt discrimination in a while. I felt it today because during my time there a few men came in and were helped immediately. It makes me sad because we've used Agoura Paint to paint all of our houses inside and out. Please do better and hopefully you're expansion won't ruin the small town customer service you used to provide. Until then, back to Home Depot.

They couldn't be any nicer. We bought lumber to build a fence out of nice redwood. They assisted with picking out the wood, figuring out how much I needed, and cutting the wood. They were also priced the lowest. I would definitely go back and recommend.

Great place! Very helpful, all the staff there very cool. Especially the boys in the yard that help you load your material. Blows HomeDepot out of the water!

We have used Roadside Lumber as a supplier for our wood on patio covers, decking and other construction projects over the course of our 30 years in the business. They are reliable, communicate very well, always have our material ready on time, and offer great quality. Highly recommended.

I have been buying lumber and materials here since the mid 80's. Their crew is very knowledgeable, and the lumber is better quality than you will find at the big box stores. It's my go to place.

Just had a very pleasant experience with Roadside Lumber. Their delivery driver, Tony, was prompt, friendly and helpful and my sales person Maurice McGill at the store was also attentive to my needs and thoughtful.

They call them selves a lumber store? They have a saw- I saw it working The smallest piece of plywood they have is 4 X 8. I asked them to cut it in half so I can fit it into my car. They said they couldn't cut it and then made a joke about me buying a thousand dollar saw. Real funny! I would never go back here. Arrogant jerks! I went up the street to DIY home center and although not the best store either, they were at least able to help me out

I'm here a couple times a week and it never disappoints! Chris and his staff always greet me with a smile and are happy to help out with whatever I'm looking for at the time. For a seemingly small place they have alot to offer and if they don't have something they are not hesitant to point me in the right direction. I feel good when I shop there and am buying locally.

The people in here are well-informed and very attentive. I like it in here, the items that they have in here are so wonderful and the option they provide is blowing my mind.

I used to love this place. Always willing to help and able to do custom work and order anything you need. Then I recently called and asked for something specific. Instead of help, I got a snide response. I guess it is back to Lowe's.

These guys are gems. They have a great selection of lumber, know their stuff and are super friendly. Sometimes even funny. I like to go here and help keep the little guys in the game. The big box guys will always have a crowd but good luck with service at your big box shop.
