In 1946, Charles J. Schoenman started making screw machine parts in a double garage in Mansfield, Ohio. He was later joined by his four sons, moved the business to Grant Street and became Richland Screw Machine Products, Inc. After the death of their father in 1960, the brothers continued the family business and constantly grew by maintaining a hands on operation and being involved with all aspects of the business. In recent years, we have been updating our machinery and computerizing many of our processes.
We have 19 single spindle B&S Automatic screw machines with capacity to 2" diameter and turning capacity to 3 1/2" diameter in our turret lathe department. We have CNC turning capacity to 1 diameter and we have CNC equipment in our drilling, tapping, and milling department. We work with steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and plastic materials.
We are pleased to announce that Richland Screw Machine Products, Inc. has achieved the certification. We are proud to say that we were approved on the first visit by the Registration Auditor. This is a testimony to the efforts and commitment by all our employees to achieve this goal. This achievement demonstrates our commitment to supply parts of the highest quality we can. This has been our goal since our company was founded in 1946.
