Super helpful. Nice staff. Went during the warehouse sale and found some nice rugs - cut, bound, delivered within the sale price. Great deal.

James Roach at Rexx Rug is a divine human being worthy of any and every customer service award ever conceived of. James pursued every possible way of finding just the right carpeting at just the right price. This was not easy as I am not very good with decorating, color, and spending money. He worked very diligently and patiently resulting in a happy conclusion. I would definitely recommend Rexx Rug and especially James for assistance with flooring needs.

Very rude, arrogant sales staff. Treated us as if they were doing us a favor to even speak with us. Shockingly nasty. And they would just ignore us and talk on the phone with personal calls. No place this badly run should be in business.

Called and asked if they had a specific flooring sample. Said they did. Asked if I could take home. Verified that I could. I took a $15 uber to the store 10 minutes later. When I arrived he said he didn't have a sample but they "use to". I told him I just called and he said "I don't know what to tell you" and Walked away. Total jerk. Will never buy anything from this company.

We recently ordered bamboo flooring for a self-install from Rexx Rug. We've been really happy with the customer service & support. James & others at Rexx have given us great tips on our DIY project, including guiding us on how much flooring to order & tips & tricks for the install itself. James really took his time explaining everything to me fully & telling me exactly what measurements I needed to make.

He also walked me through the process, giving me tips on how to make it look polished & professional. He & others also answered all of my numerous emails & calls with patience & grace. We're not yet done with the install, but so far it looks gorgeous & it seems we'll have the perfect amount of flooring. Others have commented that no one helped them, even when the shop was empty. We, too, were initially left to browse on our own, but once we asked for help, we had no problem getting help & quotes on various options we were considering.

Let me first off say, that I have never purchased anything from Rexx, nor would I ever. Instead, I have the pleasure of living on their block. From my brief interactions with the employees, they are completely disrespectful, rude, condescending, and could care less about anything other than themselves. I would be extremely weary of having people like these inside my home. I cannot imagine doing business with them, if they act like this without doing business!

Excellent results, mediocre customer sevice. Our custom runner looks great and we've received many compliments. BUT i had to repeatedly call the team at Rexx to figure out when the carpet came in / when it could be installed. Then they overcharged me by $1000 (and I had to call/email 2x to remind them to look into the overcharge). As it turned out, the issue was with the credit card company, not Rexx, but their responsiveness wasn't great.

I wanted to go with a neighborhood store when buying new floor tile for my bathroom and I ended up at Rexx Rug. My first visit to the store went well. The salesman walked me through my options and answered my questions. After some further research, I ended up back at the store with the intention of buying tile I had been show during my first visit.

The original salesman was not there. The guy behind the counter was difficult to pin down and seemed disinterested in writing up my order. (Really, it was just "X amount of that tile" at that point.) I was told the tile would be in the following Monday. It didn't come in (my contractor went to pick it up) and the store wasn't returning my calls.

I finally talked to someone and was told, with an air of annoyance, a story about the supplier not having email. However, my tile would be there in few days. Repeat the above scenario a few times. Finally, three weeks later, the tile came in. My hunch? They don't really care about smaller deals.

Very happy with my experience working with Rexx Rug. We got multiple quotes for a carpet/rug installation for our basement and their estimate and recommendations were the most sensible and affordable. I also enjoyed working with a smaller, family-owned business, rather than a bigger corporate entity; Josh was helpful in choosing a fabric coordinating the delivery and Neil was great in taking measurements of our space (he even came a second time before delivery to make sure our large rug would fit through our stairwell!). The 2-man delivery crew was professional and did a great job with the padding and unrolling. We love our new rug - it's like we have a new room in our home!

Consistent with the experience others had, I was ignored my the main guy and even when I was asking Qs, he pretended to not hear me. Another older gentleman came out from the back and was a little more helpful (son and father?). The collection here isn't unique and you can find the same options in other stores. So I see no reason to return here. They lost a customer looking for 2 rugs and 4 rooms of carpet because of their disinterest in helping.

I was in there recently to re-carpet my hallway and two bedrooms. The salesman who worked with me was kind, professional, and especially helpful. I wanted something comfortable and appealing, and their selection was vast. They helped set me up with exactly what I was looking for at a fair price. The installation was on time, the installers were courteous, and they really did a beautiful job. I couldn't be happier. No wonder this family-owned place has been around for decades!

There's better out there. Went into the store yesterday and explained we needed our whole second floor re-done due to water damage. The sales person could not have been less helpful. He showed me the stock carpet but then said it would be more than I wanted to spend. We never discussed budget, he just made an assumption based on appearance? It was snowing and I had on a hat and gloves. He said look around and let me know what I like and then he'd give me a quote. Didn't tell me where to look, styles, wool vs nylon.nothing. Go somewhere else.

I went in there today and was baffled at the gentleman who helped me. I use the word "gentleman", but "complete asshole" is more like it. How in the world is someone like this in customer service? He was so incredibly rude to me. I was trying to get a small rug for my desk chair and it was the world's biggest inconvenience for him. He was so snippy and needlessly arrogant.

The two women were somewhat helpful. Anyway, I could not find the rugs in the area they described to me - silly me, it was my first time in the store and I couldn't find it - so he huffs around the desk and makes some snide little remarks. Well, after two or three of these rude comments - I was the customer here, right? - finally I looked him dead in the eye and sternly said, "sir, there is no need for you to get snippy with me." Funny thing about most assholes is how they cave in when someone looks at them dead in the eye. So, I check out and thank the ladies, and say how I'll never some back because of this idiot.

He says, "I'm sorry, I just have a lot going on." I wonder if this laundry lisk of tasks includes helping the only customer in the store as I walk out for the first and last time ever. It looked like the selction was decent. I'm sorry I won't be giving them any more business. It's probably a nice mom and pop run store. I can't trust a place that employs someone so inept at customer service though. And neither should you.

Our condo was built earlier in the decade with engineered hardwood flooring from Rexx Rug. After about five years it looks TERRIBLE! It is poorly installed with gaps and bulges. The maple threshholds between rooms are worn, cracked and broken. I went to Rexx looking to replace them. First, they said they had no record of our original installation. okay, let's try to replace them anyway, I said. We'll call you back, they said.

No reply. I called again. We'll call you back, they said. No reply. Between the poor installation job, the poor quality materials and the total lack of customer service, I say go somewhere else!

My living room is in need of an area rug. I've been looking online, but I'm enamored with the idea of supporting local business, so I had to stop in here before making any final decisions. In. and out. Rugless. After being ignored for a little while, I was asked if I needed help. While I had questions (Is this sample piece part of an area rug or an overly-patterned full carpet?

So area rugs are here, there, and way over there? Um. prices?), I knew that no amount of help would cause a modern, colorful area rug spring forth from the piles of drab, heavy, traditional rugs featured in the store. Besides, it was clear the two salesmen would rather continue their conversation than walk me through rug-land. I wandered through the entire store to ensure I didn't miss anything. I didn't. The only eye-catching thing in the store were the prices. Um, seriously? Eeps.

I was in there looking around for a rug, and found some without prices. there were 4, count them, 4 people sitting behind the counter and not one of them could help me. I asked one of them if they could help me with some things, and one woman said "oh, you need what? prices?" That guy over there can help you when he's off the phone." Oh, that guy with his feet up on the desk (literally) talking to someone who didn't sound like a customer or vendor? THAT GUY? I'll pass.apparently catching up with pals about their St. Patty's day weekend while kickin' back with your feet up facing the customer is more important. Ew. But good for you guys! You must be doing so well that you don't care about new customers.

All I can say for Rexx is that on a suuuuper duuuuper cold Winter day, everyone who passes their storefront windows want to come in and cuddle up with their cotton lambs on display. I'm sure they'd kick me out if I did so.; However, Rexx seems to have a large variety of luxury rugs, carpets and flooring if that's what you're looking for.

I had priced out several other carpeting places before I settled on Rexx. Their prices were much cheaper for comparable quality carpeting. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Their original estimate turned out to be higher than the actual price! I placed my order and waited to hear from them.and I waited and waited then finally called them. "Nobody called you?

Your carpet has been here for a while." the person who answered the phone exclaimed. A profuse apology followed and an early appointment was made for the following week. The day before installation, no confirmation call from Rexx. Again, I phoned and was given an earlier time of day than originally discussed (which was better for my schedule). The installers were terrific.

They arrived on time to the minute, moved heavy furniture expertly, vacuumed and swept up any mess. The carpet looks great and the price was what I wanted to spend. I don't know why Rexx and I had a communication problem. They are so professional and nice I would have gladly given them four stars. It just shows that even top notch merchants are only human. I would recommend Rexx, but I felt obligated to mention the phone thing.

This place does alot more than sell rugs and carpets. It also sells ceramic tile, hardwood floors, vinyl etc. It is a full service floor covering store that will provide expert installation and has been around for 35 yrs.
