Services
Rayner & Rinn-Scott, Inc. is a manufacturer of custom hardwood mouldings and a distributor of fine hardwood lumber and panel products. We have over 160 years of experience in the hardwood industry selling directly to industrial users seeking the highest quality wood products. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility allows us to convert lumber from its rough state to any size and finish you may need.
Net tally is measured after the lumber has been kiln dried and is the true measure of the lumber. Gross Tally is the measure of green lumber, before drying. Some companies add 8% or more back to the Net Tally to account for the shrinkage. They will price the lumber cheaper, but you don't actually receive the footage you were billed for.
We stock virtually all of the domestic hardwood species in most thicknesses, as well as White Pine and other softwoods in a variety of grades and sizes. For our customers with more exotic tastes, we also specialize in a wide array of imported species such as South American Mahogany and African Mahogany, Padauk, Teak and Jatoba to name a few.
Rayner & Rinn-Scott, Inc. has an entire division exclusively dedicated to serving your panel product needs. Our panel product line includes both domestic and imported hardwood plywood, on-grade as well as shop grade, and pre-finished hardwood plywood. With our expertise in architectural panels, we can also assist you with very specific requirements such as blueprint or sequence-matched architectural panels.
