Services
We are a full service remodeling and construction company. Our specialty is remodeling your home regardless of the size of the project. From a simple counter top change to a full kitchen or bathroom remodel, to an addition or second floor, we can take your project from concept all the way through to completion.
Our philosophy is to design to the budget that we both establish so the design does not dictate the budget. The reason for this is to simply be realistic. We both have to be accountable for the choices made so in the end the design and the selections made work together with the budget so you can actually do your project.
We've remodeled hundreds of kitchens throughout the South Bay since 1971. We have a highly professional team of designers, job supervisors, carpenters and customer service staff focused on producing high quality work and always putting the customer first. From the initial design concept all the way through to completion of the renovation, we oversee every detail of the kitchen remodeling project to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

We are the fortunate recipients of a newly remodeled kitchen by Douglas Leeds at Peveler's Custom Interiors, Inc. Douglas was referred to us by two friends that had used him twice for their remodeling projects. We found Douglas and his skilled work team very straightforward, honest, communicative and responsive throughout all phases of our project.
Our kitchen remodel was a complete strip down to 2x4s and installation of new custom kitchen cabinets, quartz counters, tile splash, booth, pop-out window, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and floor. Douglas helped us with our decision making and design consequences, including cost management and at times, vendor options. We lived in our home during the kitchen remodel and were impressed by the cleanliness of the area near and part of the remodeling project.
After settling in on the design specifications, Douglas produced a contract and MS Project schedule for our review. Our contract estimated the job duration at 11-13 weeks, and was very specific in terms of what was included and what was not (e.g. we provided the appliances, but were given allowances for the tile, floor and quartz countertops, along with past vendor recommendations which we were free to use or not).
The schedule showed a 10-week series of activities, including when we were responsible for providing appliances, paint/tile/counter/floor choices, etc.; my wife and I were extremely proactive in making and communicating our decisions on time. Douglas and his team consistently met the 10-week schedule; week 11 was spent working off the "punch" list.
There were a few changes and additions to the original scope of work, but the structure and content of the contract made these uneventful, unemotional events. We wholeheartedly recommend Douglas Leeds for similar projects. -- john w & michelle g-w

My husband and I wanted to add Corian counters to our kitchen, so we contacted a few DuPont authorized dealers. Frankly, out of the four that we contacted, we were most impressed by Pevelers. Douglas asked all the smart questions, and even though he wasn't the least expensive one we heard from (by just a small margin - don't worry), his professionalism and depth of knowledge convinced us that he definitely knew what he was doing and that we would end up with the counters we dreamed about.
Throughout the process he kept us involved and informed, and his installation crew was extremely efficient and professional. Everything was super quick! We were a little nervous about the lack of Yelp reviews, but we definitely did not need to be. For everyone considering Pevelers but nervous about the lack of reviews, feel free to contact me.
