They were so nice to us as we arrived just before closing. The food was good and prompt yet they did not rush us. Five stars!

I wanted to see if they still existed since they closed the plant in Chariton where I worked. I was impressed on there innovations they seemed to have made.

Terrible experience. Stratford will hide behind the "dealer" which in our experience was a year and a half of delays and poor workmanship. The warranty is 1 year after the house is set up. It was 9 months after the house was set before we received occupancy therefore 3 months of warranty. Absolutely no follow up from Stratford. Not even one phone call to ask how things are going. Less than 3 years later the roof is leaking and the warranty person is out of the office, he'll get back to us. Month and a half later we're still waiting.

Pretty sure this is the place our retirement home is coming from. The loft cabin style with an open great room is exactly what we want. Staff was awesome. Friendliest and most helpful staff of any of the fabhome places we looked at. They may have been the friendliest people we've ever met. If not the friendliest definitely the top three.

We sell Stratford homes at All American Dream Homes and we are beyond pleased. I was also raised in a two-story Stratford Home and it was a great experience. My grandparents own a Stratford and love it as well and it has been the perfect retirement home for them. The Stratford staff is a great team to work with and are a company with great values and craftsmanship!

Working with Bruce at Stratford was great. This is the future of building. You can completely customize your home with any features you want. Highly recommend this company if you are looking to build a home.

Very nice family owned and operated business. Just starting process of building a retirement ranch home. Have a ways to go but we love the "Kennedy" model we viewed on site. McKenzie was GREAT!

Over all if I could give zero stars I would. We've been in our house for three years so I think I have found all of the deficiencies. First thing that got screwed up was the foundation didn't match the modules. The plans are done with a CAD program I'm guessing, how can something like this happen? Piss poor quality control (remember that statement)!

There was no coaching on how much customization we could do when we asked our builder, no guidance from anybody. I'm not an expert carpenter but I think I could hang doors better than what we have. I can't see one that is square. You can see light leaking from around the entire door on every single one. Quality of the "solid core" doors is poor. We have 12 total and at least half are delaminating from the bottom up on one side or the other.

We were advised to buy an air exchange system because of how tight the house would be. We paid $2500 for it but windows and doors are so drafty that we wouldn't need the air exchanger at all. Floors from one module to another aren't level. Our hard wood floors are getting screwed up because there is an incline going from one room to the next. This is the case along the entire marriage line from module to module.

In inspecting how the floor joists were installed, in the climate controlled factory, the hangers aren't installed uniformly which is what causes the floors not to be level from module to module. The cut outs to mount recessed lights are cut too big in some cases so there is a visible gap in the ceiling. in the living room! This leads to my statement that quality control is piss poor!

When you consider that one of the selling points is the fact that building in a controlled environment leads to better quality, I strongly disagree considering what we have. As far as I'm concerned all doors, windows etc., should be framed so they are square and fit properly. Floor joists should be hung so all floors are level. As for the foundation screw up, it meant we had to store things longer than anticipated thus costing us money which was never addressed. My grade, as stated, is ZERO.
