Wm. S. Trimble Company was founded in 1936 by William S. Trimble. The company sold reinforcing steel from a rented office at Roehl Construction Company on Atchley Street in Knoxville. Specialty products were added to the operations when Wm. S. Trimble Company associated with Overhead Door Corporation as a major supplier. The company started subcontracting through the installation of Overhead Door products. Another major event was the addition of Fenestra Steel windows during World War II as a compliment to the building specialties area.

Hands down the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Take your business elsewhere if at all possible. These guys are unorganized, scam artists. I called in mid July to get an estimate; the replacement door didn't get installed until 6 weeks later. I repeatedly told them this was an emergency replacement. They had no sense of urgency. I had to call at least 12-15 times.
The quote was also a total rip off. When I called to discuss my issues with the work that was done, I was very rudely talked down upon. AVOID DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!
