I worked with Ikea for a new kitchen; they are contracted with this company. I got to work with Rich - I must say I am nothing but pleased with this whole process! I ordered everything in July and it's been 2 weeks since it's finished with covid delays. But I will say as soon as my cabinets came in and were installed - Norwood was here a few days after to measure and a week later for install. Everything went great and looks perfect!

Not only did they need help figuring out how to get the countertop into my small kitchen, (I had to move the fridge for them), but they damaged one of my brand new cabinets. Hastily tried to caulk the damage while I was out of the room for a few minutes. When I complained later that day and provided a photo, they denied damaging it. I have 2 witnesses to verify the fact they damaged the cabinet. And still they lied about it. No compensation whatsoever.

Remodeling can be a trying experience during these times, but Norwood Marble and Granite performed safely with all masks and gloves while installing my new countertops. They are professional and do a first rate job. My new tops are outstanding. Thanks for a great job!

These folks were a pleasure to work with. BTW, I owned a commercial construction company in the DC market and have had my fair share of "never-agains". From the first email, Richard was a top flight professional. Informative and responsive- not once did I have to ask twice. The office/project management was equal to the field. Big shout out to Oscar and Diego(and his two associates). Oscar did the measurements and Diego the install. Called ahead to schedule and kept in touch.

Truly out performed all expectations. It is a pleasure to give 5 stars to a group that deserves it. Made it easy for me. I had a few issues and they coached me through it. No one ever said, sorry or no-can-do.project looks great.

I recently purchased countertops through Lowe's and Norwood Marble & Granite was the fabricator hired by Lowe's. The experience was wonderful from the beginning, as the staff showed up with masks and went about their business in a very professional way. My countertops were installed quickly and are beautiful. I highly recommend Norwood Marble & Granite to anyone and the Lowe's staff was very helpful.

Unfortunately if you work with Ikea these are the guys they go to for countertop installations. Ask for other options. I will be BBB'ing them post this CV19 stuff but they measured wrong, put holes in my walls and removed casing (claimed that's normal and Inhad repaired which they never paid me for but promised they would) and scratched my cabinets. I've been contacting them for months wo/any response. Do NOT use if you can.

The home improvement industry is pretty irritating in itself, though Norwood Stone really outshines the rest. Richard who did the scheduling is among the rudest men I've ever had to deal with, and it's my mistake I didn't cancel the order right after the first interaction with him. The install team just left my house with at least four dings in the walls ("these things happen" they told me) a 1 foot oil smear across the wall ("just paint over it, I don't know what that is") and caulking that is uneven and splotched ("that's just how it looks") - WHAT!

If you ordered through Ikea and get matched with this company, cancel or call Ikea for other options. If you are choosing on your own, just don't choose Norwood Stone. What a nightmare.

I purchased a countertop through IKEA and Norwood was the contractor. They are difficult people to deal with. Within 24 hours of my purchase at IKEA they called me to schedule a template. My cabinets weren't even going to be delivered for several wks, let alone assembled and hung, and they were pressing me to schedule a countertop template on the spot.

When I was ready to schedule the next month I was buried by an avalanche of redundant questions from them about my order. All these questions were then repeated ad nauseum by the guy doing the template. He was a real gem - irritable, rude, impatient. He was put out that my under mount sink wasn't readily accessible in the kitchen for him to examine and required that he walk 10 feet to an adjoining room to see.

What a jerk! I cancelled my order the following week and hired a small business in Virginia to do my countertop. Unlike Norwood they are friendly, polite, reasonable and most importantly they treat me like a customer and not their minion. Oh and the price is better too!

Just had Norwood Stone install a quartz countertop in our new Ikea kitchen. Everything about the experience from the ordering of the stone in the Ikea showroom through to installation was positive. We were given clear explanations from the Ikea sales team about what to expect and Norwood Stone followed through exactly as explained. All of our correspondence with them was professional and they were always prompt in responding to voicemails and/or emails.

The actual installation was carried out by a crew of 3 who showed up on time and carried out the work in a timely fashion. They were very respectful of the other finishes in the newly installed kitchen and were polite to both us and our three dogs. Best of all, the quality of their workmanship was superlative and we could not have asked for a more beautiful finished product. Giving Norwood Stone 5 stars for a job well done was easy. Thank you for making the whole experience so easy and pain-free!

The one star they are getting from me is thanks to Mike the manager of the installation team. The installation was great, I wish I could criticize it but I have to be fair in writing this review. Everything else was a nightmare. I purchased a $5000 counter top from Ikea on a Wednesday. As per Ikea's sales rep I was supposed to receive a call within a day or 2 for them to set up an appointment to come do the layout.

As of the following Monday I had still not received a call, so I decided to call them, it took them some time to locate my file.they gave me an appointment on thursday. The guy who came, drove on my grass and ruined it as it had just been raining for 3 days. Took the layout and never bothered asking me how I wanted my farm sink installed (I guess he thought it will be wise for him to make the decision for us) After 5 days I left 3 voicemails to Jeff (THE GUY IN CHARGE OF THE SCHEDULE AND ALSO THE VICE PRESIDENT.lol) just to get a date but did not even get the courtesy of a call back. Ikea said this will take about 18 days.so 25 days later (of course they had to cancel the 1st appointment the evening before they were supposed to show up because the material did not arrive yet) the installation team arrived and the counter top was not properly finished.they had to fix it on my driveway and left so much dust that I had to have my driveway powerwashed.a total nightmare. I have 1 message for Ikea: Shame on you for using Norwood I have one message for Jeff at Norwood: the fish always stinks from the head
